Excellent location. Room was a good size for 1 person, with the shower being a decent size. Bed was a little soft for me, but still comfortable. Restaurant wasn't open, but there are local eateries within a stones throw. When i go back will request either room 121 or 123, as these have a balcony view over the river. Overall a greay couple of days away

Clean room, excellent location view onto the mill/river Avon. Only downside was the smell from the bathroom which was reported and action taken by staff promptly but still had the issue however was given a air freshener. Continental breakfast was nice and welcoming. Great views and would come back for sure (in the same room 123).Car parking available but tricky if returning from day out in evening due to tight space's to manoeuvre your vehicle into the spaces available. otherwise will be back again.

Room was lovely, clean and inviting with a fantastic view. The staff were more than helpful, kind and fabulous ambassadors for Bath in general; even to the point of telling us bus numbers and taxi numbers. Lovely place with lovely people.

There is so much amiss with The Old Mill Hotel that it’s difficult to know where to begin. Here are a few lowlights: The most unwelcoming ‘welcome’ email ever, announcing a £10 car park charge & £30 hold on a credit card for damage & incidentals (later advised that the hold will remain for 7 - 10 days after departure); a cold room with heating turned off: a damp feel to the bedsheets: the most uncomfortable bed and pillows ever; what seems to be a plastic sheet between the mattress & linen; two bedside lights not working so the only lighting is a harsh stark overhead light; an incredibly small room; a mattress that does not fit the bed base; thin walls so that every conversation, toilet flush & tv channel seems to be happening in the room. I did not sleep, a combination of the uncomfortable bed & the noise. Several times I woke to with a start convinced someone was entering the room, the sounds of doors opening & closing was loud & clear in the bedroom. It has grieved me that a stay to be close to Bath has been marred by this awful experience, with reviews that seem to gloss over or ignore the hotel’s many failings. Finally, the two members or staff I met (with a sign on reception saying to bear with them through staff shortages) seem to have given up any attempt at customer service. Perhaps they do not expect anything positive back from engaging in conversation with hotel guests.

Very nice, cosy place in a good location, about a 12-minute journey from Bath city centre and close to the bus station. We stayed for one night only and had a beautiful, very spacious room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very poor.

Friendly staff. The room is dated and the heating didn't work. Unfortunate odour on entering the room, which cleared after spraying deodorant. The kettle kept blowing the fuse to the tv, fridge and wall lights. The manager provided a kettle change and free standing heater.
