Great place.

Friendly staff. The room is dated and the heating didn't work. Unfortunate odour on entering the room, which cleared after spraying deodorant. The kettle kept blowing the fuse to the tv, fridge and wall lights. The manager provided a kettle change and free standing heater.

Cooked breakfast being an option would be much better I believe

We were upgraded, room was small but clean. Beds very comfortable, but no shower gel or shampoo in the shower cubicle. Otherwise we will definitely return again.

Nice room and shower with excellent continental breakfast

For 140 I would have expected a bit more. The TV wasn't working and the room was very small. The staff were good but I have to say, I was a little disappointed for the price I paid.

Reception staff were wonderful and got a room with a view which was perfect. Shame the same cannot be said about the cleaning staff. My girlfriend asked this elderly lady for directions to the hotel restaurant and she completely ignored her with a face like she wanted to kill us lol we all have our bad days i understand but my god shes lucky my girl held back. Bed unfortunately was huge (2 single beds put together) and took up 90% of the room. I couldnt sleep due to the uncomfortable middle bit where the 2 beds join. Tv made a loud humming noise when switched on, shower door wouldnt fully close so the bathroom floor was constantly wet after a shower, the closet was so small you can only fit shirts or very small jackets. Oh and charging customers £10 for the car park is a joke.

We couldn't stay as my partner became very poorly. Bath is a meeting place for us as we live 3 hours apart. My father just died and we were meeting for support for me. The hotel would not offer any refund or allow us to change the dates for a different night I booked through hotels.com and once booked and paid you find hidden charges. They have their own carpark and are not in the city centre yet still charge per car to park. Its hidden on the website, so 'hidden charge' but they feel its acceptable because its there. I find the lack of care and support in this situation is frankly disgusting. Not only is my dad deceased, and my partner poorly im also out of pocket over a hundred pounds I will never go here again, not even for lunch. You shoukd be ashamed of yourselves

The hotel is outside of Bath. Must drive, bus, or walk the canal (40 mins) to town. We chose the canal walk the first day (excellent), and bussed the rest of the time. Room was delightful and clean. Hosts, lovely. Parking is tight, and awkward. Lots of stairs. Not for people with mobility challenges.

Sweet service, lovely location next to the river, very good accommodation all at a great rate. Tried the restaurant - amazing pizza :) Will be back. And yes - it does have a stunning working Mill Wheel!

The stay was good value for the money, rooms were a bit small, but for the money we paid we cant complain, good selection at breakfast considering it was only a continental one. The main reason I booked it was the lovely setting by the river with the working water wheel

Cleanliness, staff are good, setup, overall, I loved it and would go there again and would recommend it any day any time

Not good the bathroo

I stayed in room 116 the shower was not working there was water coming from the tap but not in the shower, also the hotel charged extra £10 for parking which is not fair parking on site should be free for customers, and also the hotel hold extra £30 from my bank account for deposit I do not understand why they charged extra I have already paid to hotel.com, I am not happy about that I will not recommend anyone to stay there.

The £30.00 deposit should be clearly stated along with the price, not buried in the small print. The premise of booking through expedia is good value rooms without hidden extras. This deposit is not optional such as breakfast ,therefore it should be highlighted.
