The hotel its self is set on the banks of the river, access to the car park is very narrow and the car park it self is very tight when a number of vehicles are parked. Hotel Staff - very friendly. Rooms - very vlean, tidy and comfortable. Food - evening meal: good selection on the menu

The cleanliness was awful. The room smelt terrible, there was mold by the windows. The toilet had yellow stains. There was haur in the bath. Clothes were still left in the cupboard. The shower didnt ket you change the temperature. The continektal breakfast consisted of cheese and ham. Despite all this, the staff were lovely and the view was amazing. The restaurant only had one member of staff, but she was super helpful.

The room in the lodge was clean and comfortable. It is a little worn in places, but everything worked. The room was a little small, like a caravan bedroom, but fine for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was nice. There was just continental breakfast to choose from in the morning, but there was plenty and it was nice food. We ate in the restaurant twice, the food was lovely, enough choices and definately value for money compared to others in the local area. Especially if you choose from the set menu. The local setting was beautiful. We didn't walk into bath but used the local bus, leaving our car in the car park. Ensure you read the terms and conditions re paying the deposit for your stay on arrival and also the £10 per stay car parking fee. For our 3 night stay, this was fine. We found that the sat nav kept trying to take us over the toll bridge even when chose, avoid tolls, so beware to check the direction maps is taking you, if you don't want to pay the charge. You can park on the main road for free if prefer.

I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived at this hotel. Iit overlooked the river Avon, and we could see a little waterfall from our window. The mill wheels was working just outside the dining room window. It would be lovely in the summer. The only downside was the choice for breakfast. However you get what you pay for and as a really cheap hotel it exceeded expectations and when next i go to Bath i will stay there. As a bonus it also has a toll road running into Bath which cost £1.20p cash or card. Very convenient.

Excellent location. Room was a good size for 1 person, with the shower being a decent size. Bed was a little soft for me, but still comfortable. Restaurant wasn't open, but there are local eateries within a stones throw. When i go back will request either room 121 or 123, as these have a balcony view over the river. Overall a greay couple of days away

Clean room, excellent location view onto the mill/river Avon. Only downside was the smell from the bathroom which was reported and action taken by staff promptly but still had the issue however was given a air freshener. Continental breakfast was nice and welcoming. Great views and would come back for sure (in the same room 123).Car parking available but tricky if returning from day out in evening due to tight space's to manoeuvre your vehicle into the spaces available. otherwise will be back again.
