It’s a great spot for taking pictures of Tower Bridge and there’s a lot of dining options nearby. That’s about it. The room was dated and had a lot of wear. The bathtub exterior had obvious water damage, the television would shut itself off after like 10 minutes. It’s just outside of the congestion zone so getting an uber can sometimes be a hassle. And let’s be honest here. The hotel is for tourists. Buckingham palace and Big Ben are 30 minute drives away if you’re lucky. It’s over an hour from Heathrow. It wasn’t the worst place in London but for the cost, there are better options

First off the QR “Fast Chrck-In” did not work. The room heating was inoperative - they left a space heater in the room. Our rooms were not serviced 4 days in a row (we complained). There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. Our power converter could not be plugged in because the outlets were too low on the counter - luckily we could use the USB on the TV to recharge our devices - which takes longer and we had to leave the TV on all night. Speaking of the TV - it was a Smart Samsung with streaming capabilities, but unfortunately the TV was not connected to the hotel WiFi to use the option. The room furnishings were dated and there was no mini bar (we really just needed a refrigerator) we had to call room service for buckets of ice daily. Speaking of the hotel telephone service… when I first used the pre-programmed button on the telephone to call Room Service it didn’t work. I dialed 0 for the operator - it rang for 3-4 minutes before someone answered. The operator told me that I had to dial direct and call 40. I asked the operator were the list of the code were located. She said to check with the front desk. The good things about the hotel - great view of the Thames River and the Tower Bridge. St. Katherines Dock is great for dining. The Tower of London is a 10 minute walk away and the Tower Hill tube station is next to the Tower. The beds were comfortable.

Really great area. It felt very safe even at nighttime. Convenient to tube. Very pretty with Tower Bridge, the shard and Tower of London. The food options at the hotel were excellent. Staff were lovely also. The only thing that lets it down is the state of the bathrooms. They are extremely dated. The shower was hit or miss and we had some mould also. The rooms/ corridors are also very cold at night although it was particularly cold outside.

We were there for 5 nights. Hotel premises and our room were clean and spacious. Breakfast menu was the same every day but they do have a variety of food to choose from. Housekeeping was good. Waiting staff at breakfast were efficient with getting us a seat however they weren't very attentive to clear our plates promptly. Overall experience was good, will use again when we visit London in the future.
