The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

Internet war okay, es fehlte ein Kühlschrank oder Mini Bar. Ansonsten mit allem sehr zufrieden. Die Matratze beim Doppelbett war nicht gleich eine Hart und die andere Weich.

Room- very clean Staff- very kind WiFi- very fast Location- very good View- very good

Staff were friendly Room was tired , toilet was difficult to flush. Room Was situated next to staff area which became noisy with doors swinging and banging. Sleep was disrupted.

This property is very well located, it’s literally next to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London which is a plus if you’re planning on going there. 9 minute walk to the train station which is also a plus and 9 minute walk to the pier where you can ride an Uber boat to get around London and main attractions. The downside is that there’s no amenities at all. No pool, no toiletries which I find very odd, the rooms are very outdated, the building is not that old for how outdated was the room from inside. They don’t even provide wash cloths, we found our door room open after we left for the day. We tried to seek assistance from concierge but we got a lot of “I don’t know” so we had to relay a lot on our phones and google. There are no blackout curtains so it was hard to fall asleep as the lights from the river and bridge were really bright. If you’re looking for location convenience this is your place but if you want to spend relaxing time in your room, this is not it.

Staff was helpful and friendly, room was more than adequate and had a great view. The location is the best and Vicinity, the hotel restaurant served very good food. WiFi was great and the hot water was always scalding :)

Location, staff service was excellent. Great views, easy access to attractions and underground. However our let down was how warm the rooms are, ours was 26° when we arrived and could not cool the room down with the air con unit. Reported to reception and they did give us a portable cooling system..again did not work fully! It was our only disappointment!

Housekeeping was good as expected, but our shower had a leak, so water was spraying outside the shower radius. Also had no control of ac so room was cold even with the plug in heater. Did not meet my expectations.

We initially were given a room with no view but we paid for a room with a view. This was rectified quite quickly. There was a smell of sewage in the bar and lobby area. The down stairs toilet was out of action so that was the suspected cause of the smell. The location was great and the view once we got one was fab

Hotel ist i.O. Jedoch ist es in den Zimmern enorm laut. Man hört so ziemlich alles. Die Vorhänge können zudem nicht ganz geschlossen werden. Daher ist es am morgen ziemlich schnell hell.

Hotel is in a great location. Hotel is very nice and our room had a nice view over St Katherine’s Dock so fairly quiet. Room was looking a bit tired but bed was comfortable, room was clean and everything worked. The only complaint I have is that service was a bit slow, reception, coffee shop and bar. Would definitely stay again though and generally pretty happy.

Tv apps like Youtube unusable with the wifi, sofa bed unuable, no central ac/heating, only an oil electric heater.

Needs much work to maintain the property. Plumbing, heating/cooling, appliances all dysfunctional.

Great area. It would be nice if they would tell you that the vouchers are not allows to be used for the breakfast buffet.

Excellent view but not as clean as I wish

Staff at front desk were not very helpful. The bellman was very helpful. He suggested we do self check in and we got our room. Front desks said we would have to come back later. If there was a breakfast included we were not offered it. But the view was fantastic!!
