The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

Didn't have much interaction with the hotel apart from sleeping. But an excellent well maintained hotel. Was busy at the time we stayed which is always a good sign as to how well it is liked. Had a few drinks in the bar apart from that & using concierge for storing bags on last day. Excellent location, 5 - 10 minutes walk to nearest tube station. Two minutes to Tower Bridge & Tower of London. Costa Coffee & Tesco Express next door. A few pubs/restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

I stayed here for 7 nights. First time to London. My room was about 100 sq ft. I was scared about the size before check in. I got my room and the view was absolutely amazing of the tower bridge. 4th floor. The room had many little conveniences that made the size not matter. The staff was accommodating ( I asked for ice daily) and all helpful! The location was great and I learned the shortcut walk to the tube quickly. One day housekeeping was skipped but front desk made it ok right away. On check out day I had a late checkout and no one communicated that with housekeeping who tried to walk in my room while I was fresh out of the shower and do not disturb was on. Thankfully I had door lock on and it stopped them from walking in. Also wish kitchen was open later than 10:30 pm for room service as I had some late nights. Otherwise, great hotel! Does get crowded at the lifts and the breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again. The view made my stay better than I could have imagined. I already miss it.
