It's so much fun. Especially when I stay in the jumbo edition. There are kids' activities like bubble baths, cooking, and art. It's located inside Ancol. The restaurant, bar, and cafe are also affordable and quiet, so if you're too lazy to go out to eat, you can go there. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Staycation here to support a friend at a bowling tournament. Access from Transjakarta directly to Ancol and not far from the bus stop is Discovery. It's also close to restaurants around the beach. The staff are all super friendly and polite. The hotel isn't huge, but the facilities are great. The pool is great. The gym is great. The layout is perfect. The breakfast is pretty good, and the breakfast package is a must. So far, so good!

The female receptionist was unfriendly and didn't smile. Entering a hotel should feel comfortable, greeted by a smile from the receptionist, but that wasn't the case at the Discovery Hotel. Check-in was on August 15, 2026, around 2:00 PM.

The room was very cool, comfortable. The staff in the playground and pool area were very friendly, very friendly and made us comfortable. Very kid-friendly of course. I was just a bit annoyed when at breakfast our cutlery wasn't on the table, so I asked the female staff at the rice and side dish stand. Then I was passed around, asking here and there, even being told to ask the greeting staff at the front. But luckily there was one male staff member who took the initiative directly without further ado. Maybe the male staff are more experienced and more mature. Take it as a learning experience. Overall, it's okay. Will come here again in the future.

The hotel met expectations and was luxurious. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The facilities are complete, making it suitable for families. The entrance is located in the Ancol Beach area. My suggestion is that the Ancol access fee should be free, as we'll be staying at a hotel in the Ancol area. Thank you.

We came around 1:00 PM to register and if possible for an early check-in. We were told by the receptionist that we would be contacted if the room was available. However, we came back around 4:00 PM and there was a long queue at the receptionist. It turns out we had to register again from the beginning. We are disappointed to find out that our initial registration was not processed at all.
