I really liked the hotel. If I ever go to Ancol again, I'll definitely stay here again. A 4-star hotel with a very affordable price. The facilities are great, and it's both kid- and family-friendly. Our recent stay at Discovery Ancol was an absolute blast for the whole family. We chose this hotel primarily for its unbeatable location within the Ancol Dreamland area, as we were attending the Dream Theater concert nearby. Being able to skip the heavy traffic after a high-energy show and head straight back to a comfortable room was a total game-changer. The Vibe & Facilities The hotel strikes a perfect balance for parents and children. While we (the parents) were there for the music, the facilities kept the kids more than entertained. The children's play area is impressive and very well-maintained, offering plenty of activities to keep them busy. It’s one of those rare places where the "Parents are happy, and the kids are happy too!" The Breakfast Experience (A Major Highlight!) The breakfast buffet at Discovery Ancol is incredibly comprehensive. They offer a wide array of options that cater to both local and international palates: Live Cooking Stations: Freshly made omelets, pancakes, and waffles that were a hit with the kids. Indonesian Corner: A rich selection of traditional dishes like Nasi Goreng, Bubur Ayam, and flavorful Indonesian noodles. Pastry & Bakery: A huge variety of croissants, danishes, and fresh bread with assorted jams. Healthy Options: A fresh salad bar, seasonal fruits, and chilled juices to start the day right. Kids' Section: They even have a dedicated area with child-friendly bites and snacks, which made the morning routine so much easier. Located inside Ancol, entrance fee not included. Check-in was fast, the pool was spacious, and the rooms were soundproof. Our family got room 565 (the very end) and there was no noise at all. The downside was the view, as the walls and floor were uncarpeted. Breakfast was on the first floor, with a varied menu, but I'd rate it 3/5 for taste.

Breakfast was decent, with a good variety. But the room, unfortunately, needs a lot of work. The center light switch above the telephone table was broken, and there was no on/off button. The sheets inside the bedcover were a bit dirty, like they had sand on them, and they were itchy.

I was disappointed with my stay. I was from out of town and wanted to rest comfortably, but the noise from the repairs on the third floor made it difficult for my husband and me to rest and was very disturbing. If repairs are underway, please vacate the rooms affected by the noise and prevent their use for the comfort of our guests.
