My friend came by Trans Jakarta, and it turns out the hotel is right across from TJ Ancol. If you want to take the public transportation, just cross the parking lot. Unfortunately, the beach to the west of Ancol is not as beautiful as the main beach a little further east. A morning walk from the hotel to Ancol beach takes about 30 minutes (while looking around). Pros: Close to TJ, close to Ancol attractions, lots of delicious food, and budget-friendly rooms. Cons: None, really. If you're looking for a practical option, it's a bit far from minimarts and restaurants (if you bring a vehicle, that's fine). If you could rent a motorbike or bicycle, it would be really awesome :)
