Lots of kids' activities, including free face painting, a clown making balloons for the kids, a playground, and a pool large enough for kids. The staff were helpful and friendly. I really liked the hotel. If I ever go to Ancol again, I'll definitely stay here again. A 4-star hotel with a very affordable price. The facilities are great, and it's both kid- and family-friendly. The breakfast is also varied. There are also MSME tenants accessible directly from the hotel, so if you want to eat, you don't have to go to the hotel restaurant or go far away.

Our recent stay at Discovery Ancol was an absolute blast for the whole family. We chose this hotel primarily for its unbeatable location within the Ancol Dreamland area, as we were attending the Dream Theater concert nearby. Being able to skip the heavy traffic after a high-energy show and head straight back to a comfortable room was a total game-changer. The Vibe & Facilities The hotel strikes a perfect balance for parents and children. While we (the parents) were there for the music, the facilities kept the kids more than entertained. The children's play area is impressive and very well-maintained, offering plenty of activities to keep them busy. It’s one of those rare places where the "Parents are happy, and the kids are happy too!" The Breakfast Experience (A Major Highlight!) The breakfast buffet at Discovery Ancol is incredibly comprehensive. They offer a wide array of options that cater to both local and international palates: Live Cooking Stations: Freshly made omelets, pancakes, and waffles that were a hit with the kids. Indonesian Corner: A rich selection of traditional dishes like Nasi Goreng, Bubur Ayam, and flavorful Indonesian noodles. Pastry & Bakery: A huge variety of croissants, danishes, and fresh bread with assorted jams. Healthy Options: A fresh salad bar, seasonal fruits, and chilled juices to start the day right. Kids' Section: They even have a dedicated area with child-friendly bites and snacks, which made the morning routine so much easier. Final Verdict Whether you are in Ancol for a concert, visiting Dunia Fantasi, or just looking for a weekend getaway, Discovery Ancol is a top-tier choice. The staff are all friendly. You get a guava juice welcome drink. The room is clean, tidy, and smells good. You can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms. Spacious lounge. Spacious lobby. Spacious swimming pool. There's a rabbit enclosure. It's really comfortable. It's just a short walk to Dufan, right next door.

The HK staff rang the doorbell nonstop at 10 a.m., repeatedly, disrupting my rest. I knew I was checking out at 12 p.m., and as far as I know, there's a pause between ringing the doorbell and a few seconds, not a deliberate repetition. And, more likely, parking and entry fees are charged to the guest.

Hotel interior at the lobby and along interior very attractive and distinguished with other ones, coming with a clean modern-classic appearance and a lot of benches provided. A staff who greeted me at the lobby during the check-in process is also warm and helpful, ensuring the process is smooth and quite fast. A little thing that needs to be improved is room signage at the front of the elevator door that should be provided to give guests a figure of where they have to go to their room.
