YOTEL Edinburgh

Wont call this 4 stars. Quite basic room. Feel quite claustrophobic.. No desk in the room nor tea or coffee making facilities. Have to queue up long time for breakfast. Apparently they do not have any botttles of water in the bar either!

From start to finish the stay was excellent. It is a really central location and offers an affordable option. I was staying for 2 nights due to a conference at the ICCE. I had a number of boxes posted to the hotel ahead of time, which they kept securely until I arrived. All the staff were very friendly and super helpful! I would return again and definitely recommend.

Just had one night in this hotel but it was great. Super easy and quick check in, room was spacious and clean and super easy check out and they were able to store our bags while we explored more! Would stay here again.

Room is very bare bones but just what was needed for a stay where we didn’t spend much time in the room. However I have never stayed at a hotel with such awful WiFi, it constantly disconnected and would require you to log in over and over again which made it difficult to plan our trip and make reservations. Our air conditioning would seemingly randomly reset to a different temperature in the middle of the night and we often woke up hot. Also although the advertised sound proofed rooms being in a room near the lift we could hear everyone someone came out of the lift. The location is nice and located a short walk from the royal mile and most of the new town of Edinburgh.

Comfortable bed, nice size bedroom but food in the hotel could be better

I did not like that the breakfast was not included as that is why I chose the place as Expedia had breakfast on the listing. I did not enjoy that the parking is an 8minute drive away and a 14 minute walk back to hotel

Hotel and rooms were extremely clean and really liked the quick, automated check-in. Great location for the city centre.

Excellent location, clean room, spacious shower with plenty power, great bed and lovely staff

This hotel is awesome. Super clean, modern, good space and comfortable beds. It was everything we needed and location is awesome too. We loved walking everywhere and never needed transportation. My kids loved the bunk beds as well.

There is no customer service from the staff here, except for 1 lady who is helpful and approachable.

Property was close to New Town. Staff was amazing however we ran into a snafu when our door lock didnt work for almost 2 hours but staff immediately worked on it. Check in process was easy and breakfast buffet was great! I recommend the first class rooms for families for space and amenities. Highly recommended!

Wasn’t worth the money. Just an average hotel that needs some work.

Was centrally located. Staff were very helpful. We missed the picked up for laundry service, but they gave us the information and we were able to take our laundry to be done same day.

Staff was friendly and helped us with various trip. We think his name was Jordan.

Accessible hotel self check in with lifts. Big room we had extra sofa bed in room even though only two of us . Very clean room large tv with easy to use shower . We could never sort out air conditioning so couldn't sleep at night due to being to hot. Lighting was not good any movement in room lights were full on . If u turned off difficult to find toilet. No tea and coffee in room but could get 24 hours downstairs. We prefer in room. Breakfast was very poor sauages bacon hash browns hard little scrambled eggs, we did get baked beans. Good selection pasties fruit. Bread hard coffee not good . First morning we went down wire on the floor i nesrly fell over it. Had to ask for it to be removed health and safety issue. We did have food in bar area in evening which you take to room . Good selection of pannis pizza bar snacks all freshly cooked and reasonable priced. Lovely bar area comfortable seating lovely bar staff. Difficult to get room ckeaned had to ask at reception. Great location but on floor we stayed at 10.30 PM young children running around screaming.

I would not recommend this property. It is not in a convenient location. They skipped cleaning our room and when we notified them they did bring towels. The light system is disorienting - goes off and on all night and although we had the thermostat turned down all the way the room was too warm and uncomfortable at night.
