The bar selection was limited and Staff were at times not able to cope with the number of customers but I stayed here for two days and I thought it was great otherwise. The hotel is central, the room is clean and comfortable and that is all I needed.

We had a premium king room. The room was about 3 feet bigger than the bed, no place to be other than in the bed. No in room coffee…I know but that’s how I function…but it was free downstairs. A digital heat/air system that had us baffled and cold. On the plus side it was in a quiet area, two blocks off Princess Street and 15 minutes walking from Dean Village.

Rooms are OK even if water is always slipping from the shower. Breakfast is not the best aspect of this hotel. Last time I found dirty towels and sheets. They also offer a voucher for who doesn’t request the room cleaning, which is a nice initiative. On the other hand they have many limitations of its usage making less useful. So after you fall in the trick you don’t do it or at least only for the environment.

We had a good experience here. The room was actually very spacious for being a smaller square footage room. It was perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Great location to everything. Only downside was… you can hear the other nearby hotel room doors closing at night time when it’s time for sleep, but this is common in most hotels. There was no coffee or complimentary water in the room, but they do offer it in the lobby. I would recommend you stay here while visiting Edinburgh.

Really lovely hotel. Very clean. Huge room, we stay 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children and the room was MORE than big enough, really fresh, airy and comfortable. The bed adjusted, which both adults and children thought was VERY cool. Our only loss of a star was that the ensuite wasn't separate from the room itself, although looked very cool and we didn't realise when booking. The rooms also don't have kettles however there is a station downstairs with hot water and hit drinks facilties for free. Really lovely hotel and very hip I'd imagine. I just like my bathroom privacy especially with children 😉😂.

The room was clean, with comfortable twin beds. The toilet, shower and basin were all separate which was useful. Although this was a 'premium' room, there was virtually no storage except for a small hanging space. No fridge and the 'cool cupboard', which has no adjustable temperature control, says 'not suitable for food' so I am not sure what it is for! There is no kettle but free tea and coffee is available in the bar, which no-one tells you about so I didn't find it for 24 hours. The staff were all very friendly except for one: If you opt not to have your room cleaned, you have £5 credit in the bar. However I was very angry because when I asked about this after a day, I was assured that I could save it until the following day but, when I went the next day, the barman refused to honour this promise so I lost that credit. The breakfast is good with everything you would expect except that there was only fruit yoghurt on our 3 mornings, no natural, unsweetened.
