Breakfast was fine…did not use use any spa

Clean room with no tea or coffee making facilities which for the price you would assume this was standard ? We had to self checkin even though 3 members of staff stood behind a desk talking and had to find key cards to make our key. Get the rationale behind this but people queuing and having 3 staff stood there seems a waste of time.

It was very practical and everything worked very well. Only i did not like breakfast, but it is optional.

Good location. Very spacious and comfortable room. Very clean, with a very smooth check-in and check out process. Would definitely consider again on a return to Edinburgh.

Room was a very large open plan space and in a great location to the city. Room was clean well layed out with a king sized bed and a sofa bed The bathroom area was on one switch meaning in the night you lit the whole room up, not ideal with a small child. There is no kettle in the room and the fridge says not for use of food or medication. The hotel shop to purchase hot drinks was expensive. Staff were not friendly. Upon entering the hotel there were three reception staff none of them acknowledged us. I noticed the self check in so easily check in. When i quieried VIP status notification from Hotels.com they advised they didnt know what this was then carried on using the computer. When i asked if they could find out i was told it could be early/late check in but they only do this for Experien customers. Then once again blanked me. I chased this up with an email to be told its 20% off a single purchase in the shop. Upon check out i asked if i had a £8.50 to use as we hadnt used housekeeping. I was told this was off room service only, Thats not what the leaflets in the room stated but i didnt want to argue with staff who didnt care about customer service.

Everything was very good, staff lovely in particular the breakfast staff.

Very nice room. Clean. Modern. Would stay again, Walking distance to main Edinburgh streets.

Staff at check in were great. The 'restaurant.. if you can call it that was beyond terrible.as were the staff. TV wouldn't work.

Room was SO clean, incredibly comfy bed, staff were so helpful. The gym was clean and had pretty good selection of weights and machines. Great location. Just all around fantastic stay.

The location is great, The staff are nice. but it’s too noisy. You could hear the door closing next door, chatting on the hallway, even the people on the street. Not sound proof room and the phone service , you’re going to be billed if you call the customer service, instead of dialing just one number, you have to dial their complete phone number!. And lastly their bathroom are too small, no privacy. Very inconvenient.

Breakfast was not good.

On two occasions housekeeper did not clean the room and breakfast which we paid for was terrible. No glssses , no juices, no cutlery, no food left and waiter running like a headless chicken around the room not knowing what to do. Pancreas were hard and no cups for coffee so we left after 15 min of trying to east and drink. Never again.

Lovely, clean, bright room.

Nosso quarto era bem confortável, bem espaçoso, mobília moderna, cama queen com controle de posição, wi-fi, TV LCD, frigobar, ferro e tábua de passar roupa, secador de cabelo, ar condicionado, boa cama e ducha, shampoo, condicionador e hidratante.O quarto tem sensor de presença, se não houver movimento no quarto, tudo se desliga, mas se fizer um movimento, tudo liga novamente. O hotel esta bem localizado, próximo á Princess Street, com transporte e fácil acesso aos pontos históricos, restaurantes e comércio. O atendimento foi muito atencioso e prestativo de todos que nos atenderam. O café da manha custa £15. Eles guardam as bagagens antes do check in ou depois do check out. Também dão desconto caso opte por não limparem o quarto, dando um bônus para gastar no bar. Nosso quarto, foi o acessivel, tudo perfeito. Gostei muito do hotel, da nossa estada e da qualidade e conforto do hotel.

Room was clean. Layout was good. I liked that the bed could be moved to flat for sleeping or upright for relaxing: watching TV. Shower was strong.

Staff were lovely. Cleanliness could be better. No Eggs or Bacon at breakfast as they had ran out . All breakfast items cold except the Juice which was warm. Air conditioning poor

Room was spotless, staff were really helpful, rooms had a really modern feel to them, breakfast was a bit of a shambles due to lack of tables
