Very disappointing stay. I stayed in Room 242 from 23 December 2025 to 26 December 2025. Throughout my entire stay, the toilet flush in the room was not functioning properly. On the first day, I went down to the ground floor reception and politely asked for the issue to be checked. The receptionist said she would take care of it. However, nothing had changed by the following day. I reported the problem again and asked whether the toilet had actually been checked, as it did not seem so. I was told that a message would be left for the person in charge. Despite this, the issue was never resolved. As a result, until the day of check-out, I had to go down to the public toilet on the ground floor every day to use the facilities. I find it unacceptable that I was assigned a room with a completely non-functioning toilet, and that no effective action was taken despite repeated and polite requests. What disappointed me most was not only the faulty room, but the lack of responsibility and follow-through in handling the situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

It was okay, but my room had dead space. The space was bit smelly like mustiness. And I heard dragging noise every morning starting from 07:30 am.

The Room was good, and the breakfast was quite good with reasonable cost. All day coffee at the 'Komunity' was also good.

Hotel is in a good location for all city centre activities, self check in was quick and easy to use. Hotel room was clean and spacious only negative point I would say is there wasn’t any tea/coffee making facility’s in the room.

Clever design in a small space. Clean and comfortable. Nice touch having the double blind so you can choose how much light you want. Two issues, the TV turned itself on 6 times in the night - clearly an electrical issue which was resolved the following day and the lights turned themselves off after about 15 minutes which was annoying

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima perché è in pieno centro ma il bagno in camera non è in alcun modo diviso e separato dal resto della stanza quindi senza nessuna privacy.

Nice hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay really enjoyable. The location is great—everything is nearby and easy to get to. I would definitely stay here again.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, Bett war bequem, Badezimmer mit Fenster ( konnte man leider nicht öffnen, aber Lüftung funktionierte gut), Badezimmer war "nur" durch einen Vorhang getrennt, Duschkabine und WC hatten aber Türen. Klimaanlage ließ sich leicht regeln, TV super Größe, Beleuchtung war auch gut. Top Lage, freundliche Mitarbeiter, alles in allem empfehlenswert. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Edinburgh wieder das Hotel buchen.

Room was very clean, comfortable. Location for me was perfect, very good bars in 2-3 minute walking distance.
