Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

The breakfast food variety was very good. The staff working the breakfast service were superb. Pratap in the Teppanyaki was a fabulous cook and entertaining. Staff were generally good with one exception. Prices for food drink was a bit too high Gave feedback at reception that the quality of the take away breakfast was poor and this was not listened to and the same horrible sandwiches were provided the next day. The croissants were available very early and could have been put in the take away meal. If a guest gives feedback please act on it and act like a 5 star hotel and provide the high level of service. Some of the liquid soap shower gel bottles don’t work and need to be checked daily.

The best part about the hotel is the location and views. The staff were friendly and there’s plenty to do in the hotel. The downsides were the prices they charge for food and drink. Very expensive, even for Dubrovnik. It’s all people talk about in the hotel. It’s better quality and value to eat and drink at the nearby restaurants. The worst part is the condition of the rooms. They’re like a 1990’s Travel Lodge but with a small balcony and view. The bathrooms are particularly bad with no door or privacy. It’s a shower within the bath which is horrible to use and it’s impossible not to soak the floor whilst having a shower. It’s like having a bath and shower at the same time as the bath drains so slowly. Difficult to get out of as well. There’s little to no room in the fridge but it doesn’t really matter as the coldest the fridge goes to is room temperature. The sun loungers are bunched together and it’s uncomfortable that people are so close to you and all around you. There’s not enough room to spin loungers to face the sun throughout the day. They are comfortable, however.

Great stay! Bathroom area was a little dated. You could tell they spray painted a few places but overall great. The Balcony was amazingly large with a great view. The breakfast was top notch.

Perfect location for us! Beautiful hotel in a more quiet location, however very walkable to the old town Dubrovnik and all the action. Amazing breakfast and great restaurants on the property. Would definitely stay again!

J’ai adoré mon séjour au Rixos.

We stayed from May 28 - June 1, 2026. Starting at reception we were greeted with smiles. The front end staff were very helpful and welcoming. Reception showed us around. I love the signature scent uon walking into the lobby. The elevator is a little bit confusing, we figured it out eventually. We were upgraded to a higher floor and bigger bed. The room was clean, good size, beautiful views of the water. Great amenities, we paid for sea view includes robe, slippers, bulgari toiletries. A/C worked well. The only suggestion I would make is sun shades like an umbrella, I was not keen on neighbors from upstairs or next door just right there. The pool was really cold, wish it was heated. I liked that I can swim in the ocean, however; the water was freezing, not the hotels fault just wanted to mention. 3 more weeks out and it would have been warm. The sun chairs get filled up so go early. It was free. You can order drinks pool/sea side. Breakfast was good. Made to order omelet and a wide selection of breakfast food. Again, if you want to sit outside with a view go early. It gets really crowded especially on Saturday. The restaurant was great, a little pricey but worth it. The hotel is close to Old Town, about 25 - 30 minute walk, just depends on your pace. Uber is available and range from 8 to 12 Euro. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location

Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spotless, spacious and the sea view was well worth the extra money. The spa and massage treatments were wonderful, I’d highly recommend the magnesium full body treatment. The gym was well equipped for a hotel gym, it could do with a bit more space for floor/ mat work. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful, endless options to meet your preferences and the piano player really added to the ambience. Great location, about 20-25 mins walk into the old town (up hill on the way back). I’d stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Everything beyond expectations. My family and I had a great time and enjoyed e everything the hotel offered. Would return right now if possible!

Capuccino can be improved greatly

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we checked in the whole experience was perfect. The attention to detail from the staff is phenomenal - it far exceeded our expectations. There are so many things that made this stay good. A wonderful knowledgeable and engaging waitress on the local wines, a fantastic experience in the Spa, really good live music and a fantastic view. Definitely recommend!
