I was pleasantly surprised with the Grand Burstin. Hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly and the amenities were fantastic. The entertainment at the hotel was out of this world and so unexpected. I had a wonderful evening full of entertainment. Bar staff are very friendly. Especially the lady with the long brown hair. Thank you Burstin!

Reception staff were rude we travelled for 6.5 hrs & arrived about midnight & it was almost too much trouble for the receptionist to talk to us & check us in. I asked where we could park as the hotel car park which was a free for all was totally packed & cut in half as scaffolding was all over the place, we were told you can park on the street till 5am then get up & try again! The hotel was big clean it smelt of cannabis particularly in reception & the ground floor there were empty beer bottles all over the place & you can forget buying bottled water unless the bar is open / it wasn’t when we arrived & we were told to go & find an open takeaway!!! There is literally nothing Grand about this hotel apart from the name.

Good value for what you pay out. The property is dated and really needs air conditioning in the Restaurant the food was very basic but delicious. Bedrooms and bathrooms could do with revamp the corridors where shockingly bad.

Moved room twice, no hot water in the first, then 2nd had a bath tub which was filthy. I tried to clean it with the shower head but it didn't sort it out. If we arrived in the 3rd room first, then obviously it's a slightly higher rating. Staff nice.

This hotel has a good location but it's not that clean and I was stack of the lift for 5 min reaching the 7 floor and the break fast doesn't worth it as well not a good quality not amenities for any special occasion

This hotel need a big upgrade it is falling apart. Most of the lift were out of order, we got stuck in one of them and the staff was very annoyed with us instead of apologising. The croissants at breakfast were old and we couldn’t eat it. Check in was very late at 4pm and they do the check out at 10:00am too early!! Overall not a good experience. I will not go back.
