Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street

We were in an accessible family room. I’m not sure if all the family rooms are accessible or if I booked it by mistake. In any case, it wasn’t very pleasant because the floors weren’t very clean, which is off-putting in a wet-room style bathroom. The shower water went everywhere and was difficult to clean up. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The main bed crackled like a snap bracelet every time we got on or off it. The mattress was really bouncy so the movement of another person in the bed was very disruptive. The foldout children’s bed was AWFUL. The mattress was very thin and sunken, you could feel the springs through it. The bed had metal components sticking out everywhere, which was dangerous. On the positive side the location was convenient, and the breakfast was ok.

At the moment I don’t have any more ideas to give because for my first impression and first visit it was excellent the staff were very helpful even when the system was down but the could serve us with an excellent customer support with all the patience the did not panic to help us Well done

Any time i will travel to Bermugham i will choose Hampton by Hilton again

Decent hotel for a couple of nights stay. Beds were good. We had no issues other than the bathroom door not fully closing so there was a gap and the gap just happens to be in front of the toilet so was awkward with the kids running around. The food was the biggest let down. Not a good enough selection in comparison to other hotels. Especially if you're vegan/vegetarian. The staff are lovely and helpful. Parking is a nightmare as not enough bays and you have to pay to park at the hotel at a cost of £15 per night. Would I stay again? Yes. The stay overall was comfortable and did the job especially with 3 kids. I would suggest they upgrade their breakfast selection

The room was filthy and covered in hair when I arrived. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The staff were terrible, especially Nick, the duty manager, and Haniin, the receptionist. The cleaners entered my room while I was in the shower without even knocking, which was a complete invasion of my privacy. When I reported this to Nick, both he and Haniin were rude, dismissive, and didn’t even apologise. To make matters worse, there were bedbugs in the room. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend staying here due to the poor hygiene, lack of privacy, and unprofessional customer service.

Another great stay at this hotel although it was full and very busy it was efficiently run and the staff were very helpful and polite.

Good service and clean room

Our stay at the Hinton Hotel was okay overall, but it wasn't the best experience. It was fine for a quick overnight stay, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. The sofa bed in our room was broken, which was disappointing. The cleanliness also wasn't up to the standard we expected, as there were hairs on both the floor and the bed, and the duvet for the sofa bed had ink marks on it. The hotel has potential, but paying more attention to maintenance and housekeeping would make a big difference. It's suitable for a short stay if you just need somewhere to sleep, but with a few improvements it could offer a much better guest experience. Staff were all great and welcoming,

I had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. The room had everything I needed including a comfy chair to relax in and a desk. The TV was modern and had all the latest apps. Breakfast was included in my stay and there was plenty of choice and it was good quality too. The reception staff were excellent, I had a personal issue and they dealt with it calmly and professionally which I appreciated.

Nice hotel with a lovely breakfast and awesome facilities

We stayed in one of the room sotuated at 6th floor. Room was very good but the washroom was not good. There was no separate shower cabin in the washroom and when one person took shower thwn whole the washroom got wet and it was very uncomfortable to tale shower for another person because the washroom was veey wet and very dangerous situation as the child could have fall due to water there. But anyhow we managed it..We have stayed before also at that time there was no issue but this time we stayed again and faced tbis issue. There was no issue for the room.

This was a lovely hotel, very clean with lots of little extras such as iron, hair dryer, safe etc very comfortable, staff were very helpful and the food and drink was lovely, the staff supporting for breakfast work very hard and were very kind and went the extra mile. Would stay again.

The hotel was fantastic. On arrival Jess helped us out and was very accommodating and helped with a few queries. Lovely hotel right in the middle of everything.

Lovely stay, very clean and comfortable

The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable bed. The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. Breakfast was ok could have used better quality ingredients such as real eggs for scrambled eggs rather than powdered. Offer wholemeal bread.

Great service and helpful staff

Arrived at hotel, quick and pleasant booking in. However, daughter's room was dark as the blinds were pulled down and not working. She went back to Reception and informed staff of this. Lady behind desk was very professional/polite and they got her a different room on same floor. Our room had no lock on toilet door and did not shut properly, so hubby and I had to sit on the toilet and hold door closed! We went down and spoke to female receptionist and the Manager. We were told that there were no maintenance on that day! We were told that they may be able to move us, but not on the same floor as before. We asked for some reimbursement, and yes they did say they would reimburse our parking ticket and then when we spoke to Manger he lied straight to our face and said that due to an accident some time ago with a guest in their hotel room bathroom, ALL bathrooms in the hotel were disabled and did not lock!! My daughter was in one room and then moved to another and in both of these rooms the bathroom door locked!! Would definitely not go back, even though the rest of the staff were polite and professional.
