Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street

Overall, the stay was good (I was about to rate it excellent). The staff members in the breakfast section was really nice, friendly, helpful. Unfortunately some of the reception staff were not welcoming to guests, no smiles and not friendly.

The hotel offers an excellent accommodation experience, complemented by a delightful view. The shower facilities are outstanding. I was situated on the fifteenth floor, which provided a pleasing perspective of the surroundings. Additionally, I found the breakfast to be enjoyable.

The location was brilliant - very central to all we wanted to see. Breakfast was excellent.There were a couple of minor things in the room which needed fixing -- the telephone didn't work and the sink had a crack in it although this didn't cause any problem.

Well situated for an evening out in Birmingham. Very good value for money especially as price included breakfast. Queen room a good size and nice big shower. Very clean hotel throughout. Would certainly use again. One thing to be careful of if using the car park and following a satnav. We mistakenly went into the Five Ways car park which is owned by Euro Car Park. We realised once in there that it wasn't the hotel car park. Came out and further down the road we found the car park for the hotel. Hoping the other car park doesn't charge us for going in and coming straight out.

I enjoyed my stay just the fact that there was not a smart tv in the as my partner loves to watch movies so he was not happy that there wasn't one in the room that's our only disappointment

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are tidy and clean and beds comfy. Although the outside of the hotel is old the inside is modern. Very handy for utilita arena.

Hotel was fine and staff were friendly. However I complained of a cold shower (sink water was hot). I was told it’s because it’s a disabled room (we’re able bodied) but because we needed a room for free that’s what we got. What a load of tosh, maybe cooler but not stone cold. Disappointing TBH, and after researching, it’s a very poor response.

An ok stay, the room was good and bed was comfy. Our bathroom door didn't shut or lock and Air-con kept turning off. The lifts took ages to arrive every time we used them so staying on floor 13 we were waiting a while. Breakfast was nice but very unorganised, massive queue to be seated although lots of spare tables. Everyone seemed shocked by this queue which also blocked the reception desk. Not enough cutlery. The coffee/juice machine near to the hot food needs to be moved to allow for two separate queues for the most popular items.

Decent room, bed not as comfortable as I prefer but for 1 night it was ok. Breakfast was also decent, check in/out quick and efficient.

Lovely breakfast but blind in the room wasn’t working, asked for some one to look at it, no one came. Not a great night’s sleep.

Bathroom door cannot be closed

Decent enough value and comfortable rooms. Good spot if being in Central Birmingham is import at. Broad Street is a bit mental though so I’d not chose the area unless it’s work related.

A very comfortable stay with a good breakfast

We loved our stay here, couldn't fault a thing. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast, big selection to choose from and all well stocked, clean and tidy. My daughter has already planned to have the waffles when we stay again. Fantastic location for the Arena, took about 10 minutes to walk with a 2 year old. Not far from the city centre which was within walking distance too. Car park looked busy on arrival but there were lots of little areas of parking available. Different postcode for car park as entrance is around the corner but there is direct access into the hotel itself. Room was clean with 24 hour access to food from room service, although we didn't try this. Plenty of towels on arrival. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner all provided in the bathroom. Already planning to come back here and also use Hampton by Hilton hotels for other trips away too!
