Single rooms are nice. Staff are helpful and responsive. They need proper window coverings and a bit more attention to floor cleaning… there are many ways to do a proper clean in 10 mins.

I booked this hostel back in January 2026 and when I arrived for my July stay I was told that they've introduced a new age limit policy for dorm rooms and you now have to be under the age of 40 otherwise you have to book a private room. They made an exception in my case because I had booked this prior to the new age discrimination policy being put in place. As of July 14th the property details on hotels.com don't mention the under 40 yrs old rule for Dorm rooms and I'm just highlighting this in my review for other people who are over the age of 40 so they are aware not to book dorm rooms. I hope the hostel owners rethink this ridiculous new policy

Looked like the photos. When we checked in the room it wasn’t fully done cleaning and had other peoples hair in the bathroom, but was cleaned after we asked them to do so. Breakfast hours aren’t the most reliable and overpriced for the quality.

It was a convenient stay that suited my purpose of travel. The highlight of my stay was the early morning staff (June 23rd 26) two gentlemen were really very helpful, and the room price was good. I would definitely go back.

The wait and queue to check in was very long, everyone needs photo identification and more staff or staggered check in might help? Our en-suite twin room was a broom cupboard in the basement. For £107 not bad for London I guess? Clean and a decent shower.

Rooms to small, toilet need maintenance, the first floor open garden or deck need cleaning, the main gate need maintenance, room to ventilation, too hot in the room like hot pot, windows don’t open up for air, and everything toiletries like towel, soap everything have to pay other than that good.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great, easy to find and there is a bus stop right outside. The room was very hot, even with the window open. If you are tall then you might not fare well with the bunk beds. We could not have access to the common room and games room, as it was reserved for groups. The breakfast was poor value for money, and served on paper plates with wooden cutlery. Only groups could have cooked food and dinner. You are better off just buying breakfast from Greggs across the road.

While the staff was helpful, the property was not very well maintained and there were little to no amenities. The light in the bathroom was out, there was visible dirt in the rooms, the bathrooms smelled of mildew, and you have to pay five pound to rent a bath towel. Overall, not terrible for the price, but very minor adjustments could greatly improve the quality of the stay.

Clean room with my own shower and a huge window to open. I think this property has so much potential but it’s lacking the right management and amenities. hostels should provide towels and free breakfast as we are struggling young adults trying to stay somewhere safe and clean. I was very happy with the room though so I’d like to stay again.
