Single rooms are nice. Staff are helpful and responsive. They need proper window coverings and a bit more attention to floor cleaning… there are many ways to do a proper clean in 10 mins.

Great check-in, staff were super friendly and helpful with what was around. Room was nice and suited me for a short break. Be aware it is stairs to get to the upper floor rooms

A third visit, and Rest Up London delivered once again — effortlessly. The room was immaculate, the bed properly comfortable, the bathroom spotless. But what truly elevates this place above the ordinary is the team behind the front desk. The reception area itself is a pleasure to sit in quiet, comfortable, the kind of place where you can actually lose yourself in a book without feeling rushed or out of place. And that is precisely what happened. A young Gentleman on the team with a warmth and trust that said everything about the culture of this place, allowed me to borrow a book and finish reading it in the room instead of the designated lobby, which is a symbol of trust. Small gesture. Lasting impression. Sometimes when we are in a hurry to get everything done at once, it turns out that we are late with everything and this time the team showed class that sometimes Savoy or Ritz could envy. Massive „Thank you” to Adi to let me stay and finish my chapter past the expected moment to leave. She and the rest of the crew bring a level of genuine hospitality that most five-star hotels would struggle to match. In a city that charges you for every breath, Rest Up London offers something rare: real value, real comfort, and people who actually care. Not because they have to, but because it shows. Already looking forward to the next stay.

While the staff was helpful, the property was not very well maintained and there were little to no amenities. The light in the bathroom was out, there was visible dirt in the rooms, the bathrooms smelled of mildew, and you have to pay five pound to rent a bath towel. Overall, not terrible for the price, but very minor adjustments could greatly improve the quality of the stay.

Clean room with my own shower and a huge window to open. I think this property has so much potential but it’s lacking the right management and amenities. hostels should provide towels and free breakfast as we are struggling young adults trying to stay somewhere safe and clean. I was very happy with the room though so I’d like to stay again.

Stinks on filthy floor. Staff not available to fix the hot water.Breakfast not available. No family for smallest room. Overly paid £160 for four days stay bothered by next door room. Won't recommend because I don't want to pay for illegal immigrants to enjoy a stay.

The only positive thing about this hostel was its location. Unfortunately, everything else was terrible and made for a truly awful experience. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others against it—especially if you value cleanliness and hygiene. The bathrooms were filthy and in poor condition. Our room’s bathroom desperately needed maintenance and repairs, and even the common bathrooms were disgusting. I never once saw a housekeeper during my entire stay, which explains the complete lack of upkeep. Hygiene was a major issue throughout. While the staff was friendly at check-in, that was the only interaction that felt decent. After that, the overall quality and service were extremely poor. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere. This place is not worth it.

Unfortunately its not a place that i can recommend. The beds are moving too much that I almost fell over so I asked the bottom bed When I did my check in the receptionist almost threw me the room card. The next morning When I asked where to paid a coffee , She just said its closed and still looking her computer . Few mns after They served one person, then said no and again served some. You can't really change you device as the equipments are next to the bottom beds. The only good point it was the bathroom inside the room

Very good for the price. Booked a double room with private bathroom. Both room and bathroom were small but served the purpose very well. No towels provided , £5 to rent a towel, so take your towels with you. No lift , you have to walk up n down stairs, if carrying heavy luggage this can be a problem. Room was clean, toilet paper provided. Overall the place was clean. Didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Check out is early compared to other places but late check out its an extra £5 per hour for max 2hrs. After that you have to pay for a full day. I paid £85 for a double room for 2 nights with 2 extra hours. Compared to Premier Inn £500 for 2nights. Overall im happy . I would definitely stay again.
