A third visit, and Rest Up London delivered once again — effortlessly. The room was immaculate, the bed properly comfortable, the bathroom spotless. But what truly elevates this place above the ordinary is the team behind the front desk. The reception area itself is a pleasure to sit in quiet, comfortable, the kind of place where you can actually lose yourself in a book without feeling rushed or out of place. And that is precisely what happened. A young Gentleman on the team with a warmth and trust that said everything about the culture of this place, allowed me to borrow a book and finish reading it in the room instead of the designated lobby, which is a symbol of trust. Small gesture. Lasting impression. Sometimes when we are in a hurry to get everything done at once, it turns out that we are late with everything and this time the team showed class that sometimes Savoy or Ritz could envy. Massive „Thank you” to Adi to let me stay and finish my chapter past the expected moment to leave. She and the rest of the crew bring a level of genuine hospitality that most five-star hotels would struggle to match. In a city that charges you for every breath, Rest Up London offers something rare: real value, real comfort, and people who actually care. Not because they have to, but because it shows. Already looking forward to the next stay.

Second stay, same result: exactly what you need and nothing you don’t. Dorm to yourself practically, spotless room, proper bathroom, good sleep. Zone 1 London for the price of a night out - if you’re smart about travel, this place makes sense. No drama, no nonsense. Booked again already. A quick word on the atmosphere: despite being a hostel, it’s not chaotic. The staff are efficient and the common areas are actually functional if you need to catch up on some reading or emails. It’s rare to find a budget spot that doesn't feel draining. Still very happy with my choice.

A third visit, and Rest Up London delivered once again — effortlessly. The room was immaculate, the bed properly comfortable, the bathroom spotless. But what truly elevates this place above the ordinary is the team behind the front desk. The reception area itself is a pleasure to sit in quiet, comfortable, the kind of place where you can actually lose yourself in a book without feeling rushed or out of place. And that is precisely what happened. A young Gentleman on the team with a warmth and trust that said everything about the culture of this place, allowed me to borrow a book and finish reading it in the room instead of the designated lobby, which is a symbol of trust. Small gesture. Lasting impression. Sometimes when we are in a hurry to get everything done at once, it turns out that we are late with everything and this time the team showed class that sometimes Savoy or Ritz could envy. Massive „Thank you” to Adi to let me stay and finish my chapter past the expected moment to leave. She and the rest of the crew bring a level of genuine hospitality that most five-star hotels would struggle to match. In a city that charges you for every breath, Rest Up London offers something rare: real value, real comfort, and people who actually care. Not because they have to, but because it shows. Already looking forward to the next stay.

Zone 1 London for the price of a night out - if you’re smart about travel, this place makes sense. No drama, no nonsense. Booked again already. A quick word on the atmosphere: despite being a hostel, it’s not chaotic. The staff are efficient and the common areas are actually functional if you need to catch up on some reading or emails. It’s rare to find a budget spot that doesn't feel draining. Still very happy with my choice.

£19 for a night in central London — and I slept 13 hours straight. 4-bed dorm, only one other guest. Clean bed, fresh linen, en-suite bathroom, warm, quiet. No complaints, simply - just sleep. In an era where a pack of cigarettes costs more than a bed in Zone 1, some people still find reasons to complain. I found reasons to be grateful. This place does exactly what it promises. Nothing more, nothing less. And sometimes that is everything.

The rooms are very basic and small, not clean - I saw silverfish in my room, the room had very limited airflow, and VERY hot to the point I was feeling sick, even though I left my windows open the whole time (and it was very cold when i visited), after complaining they changed my room but even then, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
