A young Gentleman on the team with a warmth and trust that said everything about the culture of this place, allowed me to borrow a book and finish reading it in the room instead of the designated lobby, which is a symbol of trust. Small gesture. Lasting impression. Sometimes when we are in a hurry to get everything done at once, it turns out that we are late with everything and this time the team showed class that sometimes Savoy or Ritz could envy. Massive „Thank you” to Adi to let me stay and finish my chapter past the expected moment to leave. She and the rest of the crew bring a level of genuine hospitality that most five-star hotels would struggle to match. Second stay, same result: exactly what you need and nothing you don’t. Dorm to yourself practically, spotless room, proper bathroom, good sleep. Zone 1 London for the price of a night out - if you’re smart about travel, this place makes sense. No drama, no nonsense. Booked again already. A quick word on the atmosphere: despite being a hostel, it’s not chaotic. The staff are efficient and the common areas are actually functional if you need to catch up on some reading or emails. It’s rare to find a budget spot that doesn't feel draining. Still very happy with my choice.
