This was our second stay at the Thistle Piccadilly. In both cases, they were able to accommodate our request to check-in early, which we appreciated greatly as they are under no requirement to do so. We have found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. We appreciated the selection of food items available for the breakfast buffet. We also found it to be an ideal location for exploring London on foot being easy walking distances to Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, and more.

Breakfast was excellent with friendly, helpful staff. The room was fine and at least matched what one should expect from a 'mid-range' hotel in central London. Room temperature adjustment was no problem. The hotel served ou needs very well.

The rooms were very large for Europe and had all the necessary amenities including a Nespresso machine. The only complaint we had was the card system and door locks. We struggled (as did all guests) to get in and out of the hall to the exit. Also the room keys all stopped working the second day for the whole building. Some upgrades are needed in those areas. Otherwise the location was fantastic.
