Thistle London Piccadilly

The property is perfectly located in London. We enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend it.

Excellent position if you like being in the heart of it all in London. Rooms were quiet and staff all friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and a good start to the day.

Location is exceptional for exploring London. We actually watched a movie premier from our room window for the new Marvels movie, and all the celebrity red carpet. Chinatown is a block away, the tube system is a few blocks away. Everything is within close proximity.

It was clean, but a little worn looking. Breakfast was very good. Even though the description stated bathrobes were provided, they were not.

You can't better the location... the front door is at Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus is nearby. What is remarkable is that the windows are sealed in a way that keeps the city noise out of your room. We could sit in our room and watch the hustle and bustle outside our window, and the room was quiet. Our room was larger than expected for a city hotel. There is a Costa Coffee shop next door, so breakfast and snacks were convenient. An ideal location for theatre-going.

This is my new favorite hotel in London. It is between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square tube stops, so you have a choice on tube lines to get to most places. There are many options on places to eat, and lots of theatres are within walking distance.

Comfortable super king bed. Very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the location was excellent. Would use again!

A pleasant hotel for our West End theatre visit, with good-size room, comfortable bed and good breakfast.

The Thistle has a great location in Piccadilly and the staff was so kind and helpful!

Not wheelchair friendly but that is on us we didn't check. But beware of that . Hotel is a bit tired or dated needs updating. Breakfast is neither good or bad food seems good quality but ironically bland and the location for breakfast is also bland. Peanut's on floor by bed and quite dusty, so cleaning needs work . Bed was comfy. You have the opportunity to forgo room cleaning if staying 2or more nights and get a £7 voucher for piccadilly costa.which we tried thinking that you would just be given it after putting the appropriate sign on your door .However it seems to work on dont ask for your voucher tou dont get it . Overall not a bad hotel but not great either and having stayed in at least 5 hotels in Leicester Square and more in surrounding area for the same money threre is better, which is a shame because location is great . Also other hotels in the square have shame sort of entrance but have managed to put in a wheelchair lift.

The only negative that we found was the absence of face cloths in the bathroom.

Location was perfect for seeing shows, couldn't be more central.

A good location to stay for Leicester Square. The hotel reminds me of Travelodge. Ie basic, however, useful. The date I stayed was reasonably priced so it was good value for money. I would prefer to stay somewhere more comfortable, but the location, again, can't be beaten.

Hotel room was great and comfy. However, area around the hotel was kind of rowdy.

Great value for a centrally located hotel

Staff were very friendly. Great location in the heart of Piccadilly Circus with lots of shopping and dining nearby. Rooms seemed to be a little run down but clean. The complementary drinks in the mini bar were a huge plus!
