Everything at the hotel was wonderful. The AC was cold majority of the time. At times in the middle of the night it felt like just the fan was blowing. Just bring a small fan to compensate.

My husband and I just had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Friendly helpful staff throughout the hotel. The food was delicious it was lovely sitting outside on the rooftop restaurant for breakfast every morning. Location was superb. Only a few minutes walk to Termini train and metro station. Trevi fountain for example was 20 minute walk. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet and room service was immaculate. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we came back to Rome.

The front desk personnel was slow to address a problem with the AC and dismissive of problems with the wifi, which basically did not work. He also insisted that he had upgraded our room "two or three levels" and that we were in "one of the best" rooms which was clearly not the case when a repairman finally showed up to fix the AC which was caused by an excessive amount of dirt on the filter.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at The Hive. The rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was close to everything. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Rome.

We missed the breakfast because we were jetlagged. The honey scented amenities were very nice. The beds were comfortable. Overall good experience but not exceptional. It was overpriced for the experience. But it was in a good location. The status on Expedia said we would have a complimentary drink per adult guest but that was not offered. Kettle in room did not work, neither did the outlet to charge our phone. Also we tried calling the front desk for room service, no one picked up. Overall I would not pay this price again for this experience. It was average at best.

It was our first time in Rome and we didn’t know what to expect. The Hive was a very nice hotel, especially for the price. The images online don’t do it justice. Very clean, modern design. The rooms were spacious, but not large. I would say equivalent to a midpriced hotel in the USA. It has usb and usbc charging ports next to the bed for cell phones. The location is very close to the metro but a fair distance from the major attraction of Rome. Walkable to some but a quick Uber ride to the rest. It was quiet. There is a rooftop restaurant. A nice small grocery store within a block. Some decent restaurants within a block or two. I would stay here again. For reference, we are a middle class family in the Philadelphia, Pa. suburbs. Also, we arrived very early(7am) and the Hive was happy to stow our luggage for 5-6 hours before our rooms became available. We felt safe in the area. Again the graffiti and online images gave us pause, but I felt safe with my wife and kids. Hope this review helps others.

Beautiful Hotel. Lovely additions to the bathroom, including Hive body wash that is delightful. Very clean. Easy access to Termini due to proximity. We were only there for one night, but would love to stay again.
