I stayed at The Hive Hotel for four nights in May 2026. Overall, the hotel itself is fine. The location is convenient, just a short walk from Termini Station, the rooms are modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a nice bonus with decent views, and the hotel feels relatively new and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk/reception staff completely ruined the experience. Their attitude was consistently rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. Check-in was cold and unwelcoming, and whenever I had a question or needed assistance, I was met with eye-rolling and very poor customer service. On one occasion, I was spoken to in a condescending tone that felt completely unnecessary. It genuinely felt like we were bothering them by being guests. The hotel itself is okay and I wouldn’t mind recommending it for the facilities, but the terrible treatment at reception makes me say this clearly: I will never stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable, area was quiet and blackout curtians kept the light out for good quality sleep which is super important for me. The cleaning staff were very loud though. They let the doors bang super loud which woke us up around 7am. Would've loved to been able to sleep in. Other than that, good stay.

The hotel was in a convenient location and was as described on website. Went to rooftop restaurant for an after dinner drink and breakfast in am. Spa was closed for private function which we were not told at check-in. Overall good experience and would recommend.

The hive was top notch! This hotel was in a perfect location to get around Rome!! The room was extremely clean and the cleaning staff came in every day to tidy up, and did an excellent job! The front desk staff was friendly & helpful as well, accommodating any requests that we had. In addition, we were able to visit the rooftop bar, which was just lovely, and the bartender was so attentive & kind. An overall wonderful experience.

This excellent hotel is located just minutes away from the Termini Train station. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff very helpful and attentive. A top option to consider when in Rome!
