Flamingo Cancun - All Inclusive

One of the cleanest places i’ve ever stayed however it’s a let down as far as the ‘all inclusive’ aspect.

La vista es hermosa y tranquila y cuenta con silla y donde relajarte disfrutando de observar el mar sintiendo el sol y también donde hay sombra .

All the bars close at 6 besides the main bar is open until 11. They ask you to wear a shirt/shoes tho so you have to get out of the pool wet,put on clothes, go inside dripping for a drink. The food sucks. Bland & not many options. A wall of bread. Long line to get in. Hurry up and get some pizza before 6. I’ve yet to try the burger and fries or the nachos… that area closes early too so haven’t had the chance… have to make reservations before 5 for the actual restaurant(check in isn’t until 3) for 24 hours in advance. Reservations have to be made at the restaurant (good luck finding it) Menu options were slim but the lasagna was the best thing I’ve had at the entire resort. Didn’t like the steak. Staff overall is great. Very pleasant and helpful. Not a lively resort. everything is shut down by 6-11pm. do not recommend for solo travelers. I only seen 1 other person here by themself. Mostly families with kids. Absolutely no entertainment. Not a relaxing resort because of kids but not a party/fun resort either. No music playing. Room a/c wasn’t working upon arrival. Everything was wet to the touch and dripping due to the humidity in the room. Maintenance got it under control while I was gone which was appreciated after a long day in the sun. Was aware of the possibility of June grass and that’s no fault of the property but it made the beach stink, have bugs, and everyone avoid it. I took a taxi to playa langosta for an isla mujeres excursion & the beach/water was stunning!

Really clean, didn’t like that they didn’t have waiters in the pool areas. Everything closed at 10pm buffet was very limited the “fancier” restaurant was not very good. Waiters in restaurant (buffet) were not very efficient not like other hotels that are very hard workers and hospitable

This place is very peaceful and pleasant. The pools are beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is kind and pleasant. It reminds me of Cancun from It's glorious beginnings with a rustic charm. The stand out qualities are delicious food at all restaurants, the staff is very kind and very pleasant. The rooms are simple with a mini-fride stocked with beer soda and water, all included. The towel service at the pool was easy. Overall a great experience for my family.

Room was average. Food and dinning area were great. Location was anticipated. Beachfront was a plus.

The buffet staff was great! Especially Carlos! He was super helpful when my granddaughter needed assistance with and allergic reaction to peanuts in the food. He was so kind and genuinely caring. Also the concierge, Misael, was so personable and kind. He made our stay more pleasant. The beach was gorgeous!! With lots of palm trees, cabanas, beautiful blue-green water, and super fine white sand.

A small nice clean resort. You can tell this is where the locals come, due to less Americanization, which I am A OK with. Lol. I had the opportunity to upgrade my room upon arrival and I am so very glad I made that choice. Oceanfront swim-up was great came with concierge. The room itself could use some "sprucing". Any issues that did arise in the room were taken care of expeditiously! No waiting around. Topshelf tequila was great. The "minibar" consisted of soda, water & a couple Mexican beers. Alcohol was to be serviced at the bar areas. Room service wasn't available some days. I'm guessing due to the staff being needed elsewhere. Family resort. Bars open at 10am and close at 10pm. Diff bars have different closure times. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food that I did eat was pretty good, including there onsite pizzeria. Proximity to nearby attractions were pretty good if using Uber or taxi. Seaweed season, but the ocean was still beautiful. They def made my bday & 1st trip to Mexico worth it & special, w/ cake & champagne! Would I return? Yeah. I would.

We had a most memorable Stay at Flamingo Resort Cancun. I want to give a special "Thank You" to the incredible staff who go out of their way, everyday to make you feel welcomed and appreciated!

It was a good stay! The hotel is nice, the people were nice and most importantly the food was amazing! Dessert was also amazing!!! We got a room that had access to the pool and very near from the beach!! Just please tell the owner to improve the internet access! Only if I was near the lobby it worked, in the room it didn’t worked at all! Otherwise it was a nice stay! I would definitely come back! But fix the wifi!

The property was very well maintained, the rooms were damp and the food was good but not enough variety

We love this place.. very zen and the food is amazing! It was our second time and will be back in December.. 🔆😃

We stayed in Deluxe Swim up Ocean view and it was the best. All staff from reception to restaurant were very professional, attentive and friendly. They did make us wait till the 3 pm check in time but allowed us to use all the amenties while we ate. I recommend to those who want a relaxing time, its not for those who want a party atmosphere. The buffet food is okay but there are lots of options. I plan to return.

Beach wad great . Too many ataff that didnt speak English and gave wrong informationon. Key card to room 3 times didnt work and had to wait each time in line which added up to over an hour. Our room air wasnt working and they did upgrade us which was awesome Excursions we purchased in lobby was great but told times and took over 3 hours from 630am pickup time yo get to destination due to numberious other stops along the way as well as returnback. Overall was good minus other issues listed.

It’s not as good as it looks in the photos. Good people but most staff can speak English which causes some issues. Food not very good and can get repetitive
