Hug Elephant Sanctuary is a family-owned and operated elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our beautiful camp is located approximately 45 mins outside the city centre.

At Hug Elephant Sanctuary, we are committed to ethical operations 🐘 We work hard to ensure we share our love equally amongst everyone involved. This includes the elephants and their caretakers, the community, the environment, and you – our guests.

7:30-8:00am Pick-up from the hotel in Chiang Mai Old City

9:30 am Explaining the life of elephants (Around 15 minutes)

10:00 am Change of clothes (Around 15 minutes)

10:15 am Mud Spa Ready to make soap and herbs for elephants (Around 30 minutes)

10:45 am Taste of Elephants (Around 30 minutes)

11:00 am Bathe the elephants (Around 30 minutes)

11:30 am Join the Long Neck Race for (Around 30 minutes)

12:00 pm Lunch Buffet

2:30 pm Return to the hotel
