Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana, or the Ubud Monkey Forest, is a nature reserve and sacred temple complex. The three temples inside — Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal, Pura Prajapati, and Pura Beji — are still used for Hindunese religious ceremonies to this day. The forest is also home to hundreds of wild Balinese long-tailed macaques. Adorable as they are, the monkeys can get aggressive and are known to snatch glasses, jewelry, and bananas from unsuspecting visitors.
