Traveloka Announced Gebyar Traveloka Winners with Total Prize of Hundreds of Millions Rupiah As Part of the Appreciation to the Loyal Users

Jakarta, April 5th 2023 - Traveloka, Southeast Asia's leading travel platform, is committed to adding value to its loyal users through Gebyar Traveloka competition. It is an appreciation program to increase consumers' loyalty through exclusive competition for loyal users and members of the Traveloka Priority program. The program, held from November 15th 2022, to March 14th 2023, had participated by more than 1 million loyal Traveloka users, and more than 200 selected winners have the opportunity to get a total prize of more than IDR 600,000,000 (six hundred million Rupiah). Through Gebyar Traveloka Awarding Night, Traveloka has announced and handed over awards to 20 representatives of Gebyar Traveloka winners.

During Gebyar Traveloka competition period, there was an increase in transactions by more than 30% compared to the regular period. Based on the internal data Traveloka, 80% of Gebyar Traveloka participants made domestic travel bookings, and 20% of participants made international travel bookings during the competition period. Furthermore, the top domestic destinations preferred by the participants were Bali, Batam, and Surabaya. At the same time, the top international destinations are Singapore and Malaysia.

According to Shirley, through Gebyar Traveloka, Traveloka provides accessibility and equal opportunities for all users to get more benefits by collecting Priority Points and becoming a member of the Traveloka Priority program.

In Gebyar Traveloka, every Traveloka user has the same opportunity to win prizes by participating in the competition without being drawn. Every transaction made on the Traveloka platform will earn points that can be redeemed for tickets to join Gebyar Traveloka program. Users can collect as many Priority Points as possible during the competition period.

At the beginning of the program, 120 people with the highest scores were eligible for prizes. However, with the high enthusiasm of users and coinciding with Traveloka's 11th anniversary, Traveloka provided an additional opportunity for 111 participants with the next highest score to become winners. Thus, the total number of winners became 231 winners.

Innovative Technology by Traveloka

We ensure transparency in this competition. Therefore, Traveloka utilizes innovative leaderboard technology, which allows participants to view real-time scores. This technology is the first innovative technology used by the travel platform industry in Indonesia. During the program, participants can view their scores with the refresh rate of every 10 minutes, multiplier scoring, and best personal experience that shows up-rank and down-rank symbols to provide a unique competition experience for each participant.

At Gebyar Traveloka Awarding Night at the Pullman Hotel Thamrin, Jakarta, Traveloka and partners Wuling Motors and PT Central Mega Kencana handed the prizes to the winners. The Grand Prize awards were 1 (one) unit of Wuling Air EV electric car, Frank & Co. and The Palace diamond jewellery sets. In addition, we also distributed other prizes to the winner, which included luxury staycation packages, travel tickets to Japan, and various other attractive prizes.
