Refunds can be requested only if there are long flight delays or flight cancellations on the part of the airline. Passengers must inform the airline no later than 24 hours before the departure time. A brief history of the airline
Bulgaria Air was founded in 2002. In November of that year, the Bulgarian Government through the Ministry of Transport and Communications made the airline the national airline representing the country of Bulgaria. In 2006, Bulgaria Air became a private company. Initially, the Bulgarian government planned to sell the airline to foreigners. However, a group of local companies eventually managed to buy most of Bulgaria Air's ownership rights. In 2008, Bulgaria Air finally joined IATA. Then, in 2020, it purchased a fleet of jet-type aircraft. Currently, Bulgaria Air serves 20 flights to various destinations in Europe and Asia and 2 domestic flights to Burgas and Varna.
