I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very well priced. It was close to everything that I wanted to go and see in the area and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area.

Everything about this property was very good. The breakfast was ample and had a lot of different options. The staff was friendly and courteous. I felt we were treated very well while we stayed there. The room was clean and very comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and large. More like a king size bed than a delux double. Everything is within an easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay very much

5 star hotel , but you have to pay to pay to use the pool and our room was not turned down even though we stayed for 2 nights so had to reuse towels, etc. reception said I should of requested the service.. but at a 5 star hotel I shouldn’t have to think about this- it’s expected!

Our rooms locate next to the disco cafe. The laud music stated from 8:30 PM to 1 AM. We can’t get good sleep because of the noise. The reception told us it will stop at 9:30 PM because they just want to delay us to trouble her to change us to quieter rooms. We booked 6 rooms and 3 rooms are very noisy. The reception in the morning said they can’t do anything about the noise. But, I don’t understand why they are so stubborn to put us at the noisy part where they have many other rooms facing mountains without noise vacant. Stay away from this hotel if you need good sleep.

There were two large groups that arrived while I was there. Reception was totally ill equipped to deal with the numbers and so was the kitchen. Dinner was awful and breakfast was mediocre. My room was very small and bathroom toiletries were extremely limited (I had one small container for body wash and shampoo combined). And the quality of the soap was awful for a 5-star facility. The hotel lobby and outside appearance are grand. I had high expectations.

No facilitates open, and I was never informed before my stay. The staff did not seem to care that I had children expecting to use the pool. The manager would do nothing to help until hotels.com got involved.
Breakfast ok, but not 5* and a lot of the hotel could do with some love.

This is an impressive hotel. We pulled into the parking lot and immediately left the property because we thought we were in the wrong place. It is one of the largest buildings in Berat and we thought we had made a mistake when we originally pulled into the parking lot. The hotel was quite quiet this time of year so it seemed a bit empty but we loved our room, the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could walk to all the sights we wanted to see while we stayed in Berat. There is a wonderful pedestrian way near the hotel that leads to many coffee houses, bars and restaurants. The castle is less than two km away not counting the walk UP to the castle where the sights are amazing. The provided breakfast was very good with a big variety. Our room was big, comfortable and very clean. This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay while in Berat.

They seem to be light on reception staffing. The person we interacted with most was quite new there and apparently did not know how to do many things. For example, we were assigned a room right next to the elevator. We asked if something else might be available to switch to and we were told were would need to wait several hours and to ask again at that time, when another person would begin their shift. Upon leaving I asked it I could have a receipt and were told by the same person that since I paid online that would not be possible. That was an odd response since I did all my bookings on a pay later basis. She became very annoyed by the request and just stood there and ignored me. I have never seen a receptionist behave this way in all my years of travel. I suspect she is not well suited to the job. The manager came at night and seemed to be well informed but that does not help if a guest has a question during the day,
