One of the simplest but nicest places to stay, rooms are small but that’s all you need to a short stay. The bed was the softest and very comfortable, one time in years that I found a place with a bed that wasn’t rock hard.

Stayed 2 nights here before flying home. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage until check in time. Great Mexican restaurant around the corner we ate and had some drinks at.

Très vieil hôtel avec besoin de rénovations. Moyennement propre.Mais bien situé et pas trop cher pour l'Australie. L'entrée est à 14h00, pas une minute avant. J'ai pris une chambre sans lavabo, mon erreur, a ne pas faire. Il y a u e cuisine communautaire...pas pour moi.

The room was adequate. Bar fridge, TV, A/C worked well. Our bathroom was all abilities, there was a large well equipped kitchen for guests, certainly great for anyone on a budget. Very close to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Free parking and very quiet. For the price it was very good.

This property was excellent value. The building is old showing its age however it was clean, the bathroom was large with sliding screen door. There was a great shared kitchen area and the hotel is close to bus stops.

Was a relatively good stay for the price I paid.
Room was clean; Door only has a basic lock; Bathroom was shared but there's a sink in the room.
There were a few small roaches. I guess it is common in Brisbane, and that I was at the 1st level. But overall, it was clean.
I liked the hotel guests here, mostly elderlies, who sleep earlier and won't make loud noises after 11pm - unlike other fancier hotels which depends on your luck if you have guests who talk loud after midnight.
It's a bit far from any shops, so to buy some groceries I had to walk 10 minutes to Fortitude Valley Station.

The room was poorly maintained. Paint splatter all over floor. Broken furniture, very little soap. Was certainly NOT pristine like the ad said. Might be heritage listed but is not looked after at all. Very disappointing .

Yes all good experience.
Suggest some flexibility for 8pm curfew on registration - as trains and planes do get delayed. I was so nervous that I would not make it by 8pm for arrival

Found a cockroach in my bed, showed staff and decided to end my stay one day earlier. Manager decided they would not refund me for this day claiming that there was no evidence of the insect, even though I had showed a staff member WHO TOOK A PICTURE. Be prepared to sleep with cockroaches if you stay here.
