Beautiful scenery, luxury facilities. A bit disappointed there was so much light coming in the room when we were sleeping even with the blinds down. Could be fixed somehow? Breakfast wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing either.

At the time we stayed it was very good value. The only comment is that the room is almost perfect but needs a fair bit of engineering maintenance. Floors flood with water when showering and a few broken fittings and loose handles. Otherwise great.

Cypress Lakes resort is brilliantly located. The room we were in was just a little dated and tired (especially the bathroom) but still fine and comfortable. Having two single beds put together for the bed was also just a little unexpected. But the one thing which brought the rating down to 4 rather than 5 was that when we put the airconditioner on we started sneezing. On checking the filter within the unit is was completely opaque with dust - so it hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time - potentially years. We mentioned this to front desk who said they were in the process of getting them cleaned - but for it to have been left this long between cleans was really not acceptable - it's an immediate health problem once the filter is left uncleaned for this long. So, overall really good, but this was a significant dropped ball on cleanliness.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom premier villa which was comfortable and clean. Very quiet and relaxing property with friendly staff. The resort accommodation is very spread out. Be prepared to drive down to the main resort building if your villa is on the other side of the property. In saying that, you could walk it ( a bit of a hike) or they do have a shuttle type of sevice which we didn't use this time. We just found it easier just to drive down. We had buffet breakfast which was fresh and nice, no complaints there 😋 We also had dinner at the bar and bistro. The food was quick and reasonably priced. We have found it very peaceful and loved watching the kangaroos hop about the place. We have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Mixed bag - stunning location but a bit disorganised. Room wasn't ready when we arrived, we were only staying for one night meaning it shortened our stay even further and the check out is quite early at 10am. Were promised something to make up for the inconvenience but never received anything. There was confusion when we initially arrived about which hotel we were in (as there are two on the same estate). The adult only spa hotel was nice, peaceful and relaxing.The view from the room was stunning, with the added bonus of kangaroos outside our balcony at dawn. Breakfast buffet was a bit strange - turkey bacon... We ate dinner at the Bistro which was good value for money but chicken snitzel was undercooked - they gave us a refund. Overall, we had a really nice stay in a stunning location, if a little disorganised.

The room was perfect I stayed for 2 nights as I attended a wedding at Redleaf. Very happy that I added breakfast to my package. I would recommend that they add bottle of water daily in the fridge for their guests.

Great location in the Hunter Valley. Very big area to get around (it is a golf resort after all). Other than that rooms are clean & spacious, plenty of leisure facilities (golf course, swimming pools, gym, health retreat next door) & restaurants. Bit disappointed in choice for ordering room service though; just pizzas & that’s it. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes!

Large unit for great mid week price. Would be 10/10 with some attention to detail. TV cable box did not work. Tried all options and talked to front desk. She was helpful but I gave up and plugging in my laptop to the TV which worked fine. Pool maintenance person is really needed every morning. First 2 days the main pool was full of leaves. The next day it was cleaned up nice. The second pool was taken over by the ducks and duck poop deck so we went back to the main pool. Top step of stairs out of main pool deck is a few inches higher than the rest and had a few close calls. Overall staff were great and we really enjoyed our stay. Did not eat at restaurant or golf so cannot comment on those. Would definitely come back and stay again.
