Nice place to staycation. We can walk around the city, many stores, food shops, nice employee who was welcoming us before entering the reception. He also speaks Bahasa Indonesia very well, he gave us a Sydney city map and explained to us what to do in the short time before we checked in. I recommended tourists to stay here.

I rarely give 5 star review for hotels as I am super picky , but honestly Paradox Sydney was amazing. It truly felt like a 5 star hotel, such a stress free experience. Starting with the staff (reception, concierge, bag helpers, housekeeping, restaurant/breakfast staff) everyone was so kind and helpful. Anything you needed they were always there to help. We stayed in the atrium queen room, the atrium view was okay, but the room itself was so spacious. Air con worked well and it was sooo quiet. Loved the bathtub and overall cleanliness of the hotel, being a 1800s building. Buffet breakfast was perfect, the servers were all so professional and accommodating. Selection was great, a good mix of everything and a fresh egg/omelet station. Fresh French press coffee for the table. Almond milk/dairy free options and honestly the best chia seed pudding I’ve ever tried. Housekeeping was really good, everything was spotless and refilled everything daily. We dined at the Fax bar almost daily, food was so delicious (try the shrimp dumplings ) and service was top notch. Will 100% be back once we visit Sydney again . Don’t have enough text for this review but definitely book your stay here if you’re looking for a classy , great service and comfortable stay right in the center of downtown Sydney

Room was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. We did not use the business lounge as there are so many restaurants close by. Also, location is great: short walk south to Martin Place, a short walk North to Circular Quay, and a short walk west to Wynyard train station.

This hotel is a true 5 star… the service was excellent. The Buffett breakfast was delicious, loved the he French pressed coffee and to go cups available. The restaurant inside th hotel was delicious too. I only have one complaint and it’s not the hotels fault. There is a restaurant / bar down below that rocks til almost midnight every night. If I was them I would go the city and get a 10pm limit on it. For the comfort of your guests who come to sightsee and walk 20k a day and all they want to do is sleep.

Superbly located in the heart of Sydney CBD. Walking distance to Sydney Opera House. Light rail & train within 5 minutes walk, so easy access to all places of interest. Very friendly & helpful staff. Room is well-equipped with everything that one needs. Only complaint is there isn't adequate hooks/bars to hang clothes/towels in the otherwise well-equipped toilet. Only 1 bar below the sink to hang towels which resulted in them dragging on the floor & us stepping on them all the time.
