The staff makes this place the best!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to make your stay great! Clean rooms, I love the stained glass on the windows and the modern yet vintage style of the building! Would definitely stay here again.

Only a one night stay but all of the staff were brilliant. Single room just right for short stay. Nice ‘continental’ breakfast. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is great, It is close to everything. staff is friendly and helpful. Especially Eric is helpful with travel advices and being really supportive during our staying.
only thing is breakfast was limited. otherwise this hotel is great.

The Vulcan Hotel was well presented and the rooms were clean. The pillows need to be replaced as they are flat or there should have been 4 pillows fir a king size bed.

Location great for parents helping move their children into UTS or any one of the surrounding Universities. Walkable to mall, to transit, to Darling Harbour, to fish market, to the Chinatown. Clean, quiet, with friendly staff.

This delightful small boutique hotel was perfect for my two day business trip to Sydney.
The room was simple but very clean and quite practical for my purposes. The staff could not have more helpful.
I was able to get Ubers easily from the location to get around town.
The Broadway shopping centre was just up the road and I was able to see a film in the few recreational hours I had at the very comfortable Hoyts cinema.

The Vulcan Hotel has an excellent location, which is a definite advantage. However, in my experience, it doesn’t quite live up to its four-star rating. While I’m not entirely familiar with the criteria for such ratings, as a frequent traveler, I find this hotel falls short compared to other four-star properties I’ve stayed at. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in had several issues, including a musty smell, poor ventilation, and an overall damp feeling.

Lovely Boutique Hotel. Walking distance to the Light Rail. Located on the edge of Chinatown.
Continental breakfast more than sufficient though only specialty coffees (for a price) and instant coffee availabe.

Beautiful accomodation to stay at in Sydney, a friend and I flew in for a training course for the weekend and were welcomed with a huge smile from Lupita at reception. The lovely atmosphere of the hotel, where the staff were very accommodating and full of local information, nothing was a bother to them. Thanks so much, we enjoyed our stay. It’s not a Hilton, and you get what you pay for, which isn’t bad in this case. My only complaint is that they don’t clean the rooms by default, you have to ask for it
