JL Apartments

I liked that the apartment is close to the subway, restaurants and supermarkets. The sofa bed made me sweat and when I requested maid service, the pillowcase wasn’t replaced. Guests, do not request airport transfer from the property. It is at least 10 euros more expensive than booking an Uber (which isn’t hard to get). I had an unfortunate experience with the driver of the transfer service the apartment commissioned for me. The driver only spoke Italian and was very rude and aggressive, combative even! He arrived 6 minutes late, by which time I had booked an Uber as he wasn’t responding to my calls. By the time he arrived, I was on the phone cancelling the Uber and he (the Italian) got upset and berated me, showing his phone to apparently tell me his number is different from the number given to me by the property management. I calmly asked him to just go but no, he wouldn’t stop and kept going at it while driving! To top it all, he dropped me off at the arrivals area and when I told him, he sarcastically yelled, “Cafe! Cafe!” which I presumed meant either of two things: that I get coffee to wake me up or to give him a tip for his coffee! This incident spoiled my otherwise wonderful week in Vienna!

Great location, 15 mins walk to the city centre. Great apartment with everything we needed. Easy for the airport bus (to Schwedenplatz) and the underground (Schottenring). The manager was very kind and helpful.

Vienna is a very interesting city, full of history and culture. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The personnel is polite and available. The only downside was not being able to keep the luggage when checked out. I was offered to leave the bags in front of the reception but it will be 'unguarded', which means no one will be responsible for it (what??). the location is OK if you dont mind walking 20 mins to get to the centre. UBER is 8EUR to the centre.

It was a nice single apartment with a kitchen and big bathroom, but a very tiny bed and a small TV. The location is great, only 5 min to the next subway station and many restaurants and shops around the area. But if you have a car, you have a real problem, because there is absolutely no parking lot available. The whole district is short term parking and you can only park for 2 hours! If you think you found a parking lot, then mostly you're wrong, because it's only for bordering owner and you will get a 36,- € ticket. The only option is to use the near garage and to pay 22,50 € per night. Without car I can strongly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was well-prepared and even put at our disposal early, because of our morning arrival. The management is great and helped us in all matters, even by reserving transport to and from the airport for us. In addition, I must mention, that the cleaning department is wonderful. In summary, JL apartments are highly recommendable.

A fantastic apartment. I think the photos do not do it justice. Spacious and clean. Lots of info 're location and gaining entry. A good location. Leave apartment turn right then right again to the metro at tuborstrasse and your in a busy main street that takes you to the centre withn 20 mins. I would certainly recommend this JL. 10/10

The check-in process was simple and efficient. The keys were left in a safe and exhaustive instructions was sent to me about how to get there from the central railway station. The wi-fi worked fine. The was a coffee machine in the room but only with limited supply of capsules. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. Towels were changed any other day. The district, where JL apartment is situated, is somewhat off the center. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to the central locations. The metro station is at a 10 min walking distance. On the other hand the place was quiet at night.

Only issue was no air conditioning, and it was hot on the 5th floor during 90-degree weather! There was a fan in the room, but not placed where it was noticed until we were about to leave. Otherwise great.

Clean, a 18min drive from train station HBF , quiet modern appliances, little gift package when we arrived nice gesture, would stay again , small but good for sleeping just what we needed. Good communication with instructions on how to enter apartment

It was a great place in a great location. Lots of room, my only source spot was the Wi-Fi wood cut out most of the time.

Very near the city center. the host is very accommodating. Although the property is not manned 24 hours, communication with the host is very effective, they reply in a timely manner. Restaurants around the area, room is complete with kitchen, so it’s very convenient to have a meal in the morning before going out. The sightseeing bus even have a stop just a few steps from the building. we’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Vienna.

We were visiting Vienna with friends and had 2 apartments here. Before arrival we were sent instructions for retrieving our keys so we were able to access our rooms easily. The apartment was clean, bright and comfortable. We were on a side street that was very quiet. The interaction we had with the manager was always helpful and friendly. We were half a block from a wonderful park for evening walks and had no trouble getting around to see the sites we wanted to visit. There were restaurants nearby where we were able to get delicious meals. I would highly recommend JL Apartments.

Very clean, neat, well-supplied for small apartment in a quiet side street of Vienna’s second district. We are walkers, so had no problem getting to the downtown area.

Well located just 300mts from metro station, nice and clean, kind staff

Good location, buss stop for hop on hop off bus with vienna card just opposite flat. Flat was dusty on arrival, provided with only 2 nespresso capsules and 2 teabags for a 4 night stay. Badly needs a refurbishment. Most of the cutlery had water marks on them or seemed dirty. Got iron with exposed wires but promptly replaced once brought to attention of manager. Could be much better with toiletries replenished on next guest arrival, decent supply of tea and coffee. A bit of dusting and replacing broken drawers or those with moisture damage. Main advantage was that it had a washing machine on the ground floor which we needed since we had been travelling for a week beforehand.

The studio apartment had everything needed for a few days in Vienna. it was bright, warm and close to the subway station and shops. The shower was fabulous! The only negative was that the bed seemed to be a 'day-bed' and while it was big enough for myself and my partner (we are both quite small), I'm sure it would be uncomfortable for people who are taller.. Nevertheless, I would stay there again as it was great value for money.

Good location..close to Augartdn..snd Taborstrasse train stop.

It was great. Actually beyond great. Though I struggled with the TV because I’m not familiar with the Austrian channels and its operations.
