We had a good Time there. Excellent location very easy to go everywhere in Toronto without a car. Very near to two Subway stations. The breakfast was very good and the staff was kind. Thanks!

Everything was immaculate. The room and public spaces were so clean. Shower pressure was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Everybody was so pleasant and helpful. Only negative thing was that the wi-fi wasn't powerful enough for my work, but a quick visit to the library nextdoor did the trick.

Breakfast was great. Especially if you get there at opening time. Breakfast also changes daily which was nice. Good selection of protein, eggs, carbs and fresh fruit. Also had a vegan section

Chestnut Residences is a budget-conscious hotel with minimal room amenities. Rooms lack bedside light fixtures, in-room coffee, fridge, and no daily room make-up. That being said, It’s one of a few downtown Toronto hotels that offer a complimentary breakfast buffet, which is a great start to your morning!

It’s a dorm room. It smells like a dorm room. It would help if you air out the room. But neither the window nor the tiny balcony door can be opened. Other than that, it’s perfectly fine and comfortable, if a bit utilitarian.

A great budget option in an unbeatable location. It’s only available for three months of the year, since it’s a residence at the University of Toronto the rest of the time, but it’s a good budget option in a city that’s become more and more unaffordable for most travellers.

Room for two was a double bed and two thin pillows. The bed was hard as a rock. Linens were dirty with stains all over them. Great location, but would never stay here again.
