Hotel Opportune

Great location!

Everything is good except in the washroom, there was no shower curtain for the tub but a half wall glass that when one will take a shower, water will go to the floor. We already told this to the receptionist, i hope they will do something about this.

My stay at Hotel Opportune was lovely. The hotel is in an excellent location on Robson near Denman and within walking distance to all kinds of sites and amenities. The suite was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and I really appreciated the a full kitchen with dining area. The staff were fantastic - professional friendly helpful and responsive. I will be back!

The room was dirty. Sticky tables, the floor was very dirty. Hair in the shower on the walls. Broken furniture, drapes did not shut all the way.

Amazing staff, clean and very comfortable beds also they have kitchen. I love the place I am definitely coming back. ❤️❤️❤️

This property has surprise charges… for example: if you book an ocean view room and are only 1 person, they charge you an additional $29 because you are single. I am not even kidding. $30 for parking. $30 per pet per night. The room has a kitchen and a Keurig but if you actually use the Keurig, they charge you $25 for “using the kitchen”. The location is great but the building is old and it feels like it is run by “cheap management”. Would not recommend

I recently stayed at this hotel, now operating as Opulence, and unfortunately the experience did not match the price being charged. I arrived right at the 3 PM check-in time and still waited about 40 minutes because there was only one employee working the front desk while multiple guests arrived at once. The process was very slow, and payment issues with other guests caused even more delays. The property feels very run down and in need of major maintenance and updating. The lobby entrance is small and crowded, and the washroom near the lobby in the basement which felt dark and unpleasant. My room was okay overall, and the bedding at least appeared clean, which I appreciated. However, the old lino flooring had uneven spots that felt like tripping hazards, and several furnishings were stained, worn out, or dirty. Even the lamp had visible stains on it, which made the room feel neglected. The hotel also desperately needs cosmetic updates. A fresh paint job, newer flooring, and even some artwork or decor would make a huge difference and help the place feel more welcoming. The location and view were decent, but for the nightly rate, I expected a much better maintained property and smoother experience. Right now it feels more like a budget motel being priced as a hotel.

Large but empty and very cheaply finished room.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, but clean and safe option, this is the perfect choice. I was lucky enough to get a room on the top floor -- and it had a HUGE balcony with amazing views (every room has a balcony... just a tad smaller). Surprisingly, my room had THREE beds, so there were plenty of options for sleeping. It had a small "kitchen" with microwave, fridge, sink and a few dishes/cutlery, plus a dining table that could seat 4 easily. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure excellent (and hot!). It was walking distance (downhill) to Stanley Park, and slightly uphill to many of the shopping options. Lots of wonderful cafes close by for a chocolate croissant and morning latte -- plus plenty of dinner dining options within a few blocks. I'd definitely stay here again. It's nothing fancy, but is definitely worth the $$.

Have cups available was good. Having to clean my cup after usage no good. Nice kitchen.

Reception Staff excellent, rooms clean and spacious. Undergoing renovations which will be great as it is dated but very clean and comfortable. Would choose to stay here again, great location for food and shops all within walking distance

The door to balcony had some sketch tab holding it shut. I had to block the door with a table for peace of mind

Great customer service, clean hotel, quiet for a good night sleep. The only negative is that some areas of the room smelled like cigarettes. For the price point, I would stay again.

The room was decent. You have to pay extra to use the stove and our fridge did not work. The water pressure in the bathroom was great! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!

Very good location. Clean facilities. Furniture condition is average to good. Kitchen is older style. Overally a great hotel. I only spent time there for sleeping. Views are great too.
