If you're looking for an inexpensive, but clean and safe option, this is the perfect choice. I was lucky enough to get a room on the top floor -- and it had a HUGE balcony with amazing views (every room has a balcony... just a tad smaller). Surprisingly, my room had THREE beds, so there were plenty of options for sleeping. It had a small "kitchen" with microwave, fridge, sink and a few dishes/cutlery, plus a dining table that could seat 4 easily. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure excellent (and hot!). It was walking distance (downhill) to Stanley Park, and slightly uphill to many of the shopping options. Lots of wonderful cafes close by for a chocolate croissant and morning latte -- plus plenty of dinner dining options within a few blocks. I'd definitely stay here again. It's nothing fancy, but is definitely worth the $$.

Have cups available was good. Having to clean my cup after usage no good. Nice kitchen.

Reception Staff excellent, rooms clean and spacious. Undergoing renovations which will be great as it is dated but very clean and comfortable. Would choose to stay here again, great location for food and shops all within walking distance

The door to balcony had some sketch tab holding it shut. I had to block the door with a table for peace of mind

Great customer service, clean hotel, quiet for a good night sleep. The only negative is that some areas of the room smelled like cigarettes. For the price point, I would stay again.

The room was decent. You have to pay extra to use the stove and our fridge did not work. The water pressure in the bathroom was great! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!

Very good location. Clean facilities. Furniture condition is average to good. Kitchen is older style. Overally a great hotel. I only spent time there for sleeping. Views are great too.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Clean, renovated room. Parking was great, right behind hotel. Kitchen needed a few more items. Beds comfortable. Windows and sliding door didn't seal very good so you hear the traffic and sirens below and feel the draft. Overall average hotel for the price you pay. Best perk is the location. Walking distance to waterfront, shops and many places to eat and order take out.

Dated but in very nice condition with full kitchen, and many restaurants in walking distance. Helps if you speak some French. 🙂

Misleading advertising and unacceptable service. The listing advertises a kitchen in the room; however, it fails to disclose that its use requires additional daily fees. This is a material omission, especially as the booking was made through Expedia, where such conditions should be clearly stated upfront. Check-in took over 30 minutes despite only one guest waiting. There were three staff members present, yet only one appeared to be assisting, reflecting a lack of organization and efficiency. The cleanliness standards were unacceptable. The kitchen floor was visibly greasy and felt sticky when walking on it, indicating inadequate cleaning. The toilet had no lid, which raises basic hygiene concerns. Towels were discolored (yellowed), and the drinking cups were oily.

Great location & reasonable room rates. Staff is helpful & kind. I look forward to book again for a Hotel Opportune stay. Great Experience…

The kitchen had only a coffee maker and toaster.. power to the stove is an extra Furnishing old school vintage clean and servicable. nice retro feel to the hotel. Great out door parking above ground at rear.. i parked my big ass pick up . And used my bicycle to explore the city. Very convenient

This is a very old and tired hotel. It’s listed as a suites hotel but it’s not really. We picked it as it showed a nice balcony. I don’t know where it is but it’s not at our room. There was a balcony very small dirty and accessed through a window ! Plates, saucers, cups were in a separate cupboard which you had to ask to have it open. For the same money you can get some much nicer. We wouldn’t ever stay here again.
