The Crowne plaza Suzhou was very clean. The bed very so comfortable and the room was good.
The breakfast was superb. Lots of options both Chinese and western.
It is located near a shopping centre and also easy access to the metro.
There is a walkway around jinji lake accessible from the hotel.
We ate 3 nights in the Prince restaurant in the hotel. On 2 occasions, the food was superb. On our last night, the service was dreadful and we waited over 1 hour for food. We asked for non spicy food but it came out so full of chillies that we couldn’t eat it.
We ended up leaving the restaurant, very disappointed.
On check in, they did not recognise my hotels.com gold membership. Again, I was very disappointed with that. I hope the hotel fixes these issues as it is a good place to stay.

The hotel is super conveniently located, with a super beautiful lake trail leading to an area with fountain shows at night. 10 minute walk to the arch building, which has an insanely huge shopping mall around it with many dining options. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The views and locations are amazing, would definitely stay again.

Everyone at Crown Plaza is very friendly and accommodating during my stay and made me feel comfortable and happy! Also, the continental breakfast has a great variety.
They cleaned my room very well and got to know me as a regular requesting oat milk lattes in the morning. Room service was always attentive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again

Great location near Suzhou biggest mall, lots of restaurants, shops, and activites for kids. They upgraded us to a family suite with great views and a bunk bed for the small kiddos. Their customer service was great.

Excellent service. Hotel had small fire but under control. The best part is how they deal with emergency. They put guest satisfaction at first. Beside the great service, the hotel is beautiful. You get the view of the Jingji lake and the door of the east. Very convenient to the mall and countless restaurants on the Ligongdi,easy subway ride to the old town as well. I will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Staff at check in counter told me that they had no King bed room for me which I booked. And said it is not confirmed when I book. I need to argue with them and show the confirmation email to her, then finally she give me one, but in 2nd floor, face to the front entrance of which all people can see through my room if I open the curtain. I was so disappointed on this, if she can explain to me the condition of the room, I may accept the twin room, her attitude is rude.

Great hotel, good food, nice pool overlooking the lake.
Only downside is the decor, though immaculately clean, is a little bit dated.
The gym and spa were under construction during our stay, alternate arrangements were made for the gym. This construction was not noted during the booking phase, but the construction did not disturb us with noise at all.
