Check-in was a lot easier now than before because of the self check-in. It was pretty straightforward and there were staff if you require assistance.
My only issue was that my ground floor room was too close to the student accommodation that I can hear what was going on there.
But, overall, it was a good experience. The room was neat and tidy. The hotel is conveniently close to one of the bus stops so one can travel around campus or to the town centre easier. It’s free on campus and about £2.50 to town. It’s easier to pay with your credit card.

Really lovely place to stay good amenities, excellent bar and restaurant will happily stay again easy drive into Loughborough.

Good hotel - surprisingly - within the university campus. There didn’t seem to be a lift (?) so had to carry cases up stairs. The staff - quite possibly - are made up of university students so we found the food service a bit hit and miss, but were pleased with the vegetarian options on the restaurant menu.

Check in is a disaster. Trying to be modern with a self check in but either the machines don’t work or people find it confusing.
Lack of staff apparent, particularly when we went for dinner. Young staff with no management, were in a panic as they couldn’t cope with the amount of guests. Effectively told they wouldn’t serve us at 7.45pm
Venue is modern and comfortable. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms need attention. Doors showing signs of water ingress and lack of attention to cleaning.
More staff and more management on duty would help.

Reception lacked the personal touch with self check in.
Hotel staff were friendly.
Rooms fit for purpose, although we had to ask for another towel as there was only one, and more tea and milk. There was also a greasy hand print on the wall and dirty finger marks on the cutains !
We were woken at 6am each morning to office doors banging. Not peaceful at all.
Treatment in the spa was devine, however the spa didnt have a relaxing feel.
Restuarant food was AMAZING, bar was relaxing when not in private use by conference guests.
Surrounding area and attractions was poor to disapointing. You need to drive everywhere.
We only stayed for 2 nights and this in all honesty was long enough. Had it not been for the amazing food in the restaurant we would probably have left early.

Really lovely place, rooms were nice and spacious. Facilities were great, gym is a little outdated, but can still get a good workout in. Breakfast had many options. Will definitely be back.

The staff made this experience incredible. We had lovely chats with the receptionists and restaurant staff. Breakfast was wonderful and the property and landscape was beautiful. We loved out stay.

Our first stay at the hotel. Reception area on arrival was very comfortable & staff welcoming. The food in the restaurant was 1st class....amazing. All of the staff are very attentive, helpful & very friendly, taking the time to chat with the guests. Everywhere very clean .

Excellent apart from the bed which was very hard. I asked at reception but they seemed to think all rooms had hard mattresses. At aged 82 with arthritic hips it was very uncomfortable which was a pity as we loved the hotel and would like to stay there for future Loughborough visits.

It was amazing we traveled up as I had an England camp and it fell onto my partners birthday weekend we were met with an assortment of cakes to celebrate my partners birthday with a lovely hand written message from the team. We ordered a takeaway, a member of staff offered to bring up cutlery to eat it and 5 minutes later at our room door was a member of staff with plates and cutlery! They are amazing thank you so much for making our stay amazing!
Our only moan is the beds aren’t very comfortable and on the firm side this is their only let down as everything was perfect!
