Everything was fantastic but the room didn't have air conditioning so being a very hot weekend the room was very humid at night, staff were excellent and hotel was very high quality,, really enjoyed our stay.

We are 2 large dogs and brought our well behaved owners with us. We were made to feel very welcome. 2 dog beds and 2 bowls in the room as well as a human sized bed (which we felt was too comfortable for us). Our owners were very happy though. There were water bowls and treats for us in the bar. This was a joy as our owners wanted to watch some strange men (the 11 in white shirts seemed to be the favourites) running around with a ball. We would have been much better but I'm not sure the ball would have lasted more than about 5 minutes. Breakfast set up in the bar for our owners as we were not allowed to accompany them into the restaurant. In fairness there would have been too much temptation, all those sausages on offer! The Stray directly opposite the hotel where we could take our owners for lots of lovely walks. All round a great experience. Thank you Woof, woof

We had a family room with a sofa bed for the teenager and it was perfect. Breakfast was superb and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful grounds and just a 15 walk into town so perfectly located. Would highly recommend if looking for hotel in the beautiful Harrogate

The suites are beautifully decorated and very spacious. It’s such a relaxing environment for properly unwinding. However the pillows aren’t very comfortable. My only other issues were with the cleanliness of the room. Hairs were found on the desk. Drink marks in 2 areas from previous occupants, dust under the coffee table. Also the tumblers in the bathroom need to be thrown away as they were not fit for further use. There was some noise coming from a few loud guests up to 10.30-11pm who were in the outdoor bar/restaurant. It wasn’t too much of an issue on a Monday night but weekends could be quite different depending on which room you are in. The bar area is nice and the cost of drinks is quite reasonable considering the location.

The toilet in the room was very difficult to flush, as it cuts off before enough water was allowed to fill the tank to do the job, an easy fix that needs doing.

If you have a room at the back very noisy and hot. The floors are very squeaky so people walking along the corridors may wake you up. Bar food stops at 5pm which is very early. Rooms only tidied when requested not cleaned or new sheets. Items were not restocked during the tidy session. Tried ringing room service called three consecutive times no answer ending up having to phone the hotel again no answer so I had to go downstairs to order the room service which is not the point of room service Rooms overlooking the car park are cooler as the Sun only hits in the morning but you are unable to open the windows or close the windows more than they already are Majority of the staff I spoke to were polite, one receptionist male in the morning I felt was quite rude.

This hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location! The breakfast room/restaurant room is absolutely stunning!! The bedrooms are beautiful too, with a great en-suite and comfortable bed. The only things that let it down are the really bad wi-fi (not great when you’re trying to look up routes for exploring the area or restaurants to go to) and no mini fridge in the room (mainly for medication that needs to be refrigerated). If those could be fixed this place would be perfect!!!

Beautiful decor in the lounge and dining room. Bedroom was lovely, clean and spacious. The down side was on arrival I checked in and was told to the pay for parking at a machine. I was there for 2 days and I was charged £30. I spoke to the receptionist and she said I must have put in pm. 9.15 is am to me and that's what I put in. The receipt said 21.15 hours. Receptionist gave me a number to ring but it kept hanging up. Very disappointed with that part of my weekend away.

Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains keep out the light well.

Rooms nice but on the small side. Stifling hot and only a small fan provided. Shower drain blocked and overflowed. Breakfast excellent however and hotel was pretty quiet which was surprising as it was at the time of the Great Yorkshire Show. Is overpriced in my opinion at £250 a night with breakfast. Also had to pay for parking £10 a day.

Regular yearly stay for the Yorkshire show. Rooms were noisy due to hot weather, windows open and what sounded like generators going all night. Our bathroom had definitely not been cleaned properly before our arrival, a large puddle from the shower was down behind the dirty toilet (outside) No bottled water, which we saw on the trolleys as we left 😉 Breakfast did the trick and grateful for GF bread but sausages could have done with a little longer cooking time. Grateful for the happy hour in the bar when showing show tickets and will watch out for the special menu's next year.

Great reception, but terrible event catering and attitude The Good: Credit where it's due, the room was clean but tatty and the reception team was highly professional. The Bad: The food was poor quality, overpriced, and not even cooked through. On top of that, orders were incorrect. The Service: The catering and event staff were miserable, rude, and entirely indifferent to guests. No one apologised for the mistakes. Event experience: Shockingly unprofessional. Staff were pushing trolleys right in front of guests during the speeches and tutting at people in the buffet line. Avoid this place for events, I certainly won't be back.

The room was spacious with a good amount of storage whilst the room did not have air conditioning it was cool and a comfortable temperature, which to say it was 30 degrees outside was good. There was a fan available, but we didn't need to use it. Room was clean and the bathroom was acceptably clean. There was however slight mould spots on some of the grouting and sealant in the shower. It was quiet and peaceful. The building and communal rooms were wonderful. They felt very classy in keeping with the exterior if the building. The aura and atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The live keyboard player who sang smooth jazz music added to the ambiance. The staff were all friendly, patient, very helpful, curteous, and professional. They are a credit to the hotel. The food was gorgeous. Breakfast was amazing, whilst a buffet, the food was fresh and not dried out at all. We arrived 40 mins before the end of services and there was still the full range of items on the menu. The evening meal was a set menu with a choice of one or two courses. We would have preferred a single meal, but that was not an option. For us the selection for each course was a bit limited, and didn't match our tastes. However the meals we selected it were superb. Other dinners nearby that we interacted with, also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The standard was very high. Check in and out was easy, and can be done independently or by the staff. You need to pay for parking, but there are plenty of bays.
