Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Leonardo. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was great but I found the air con a bit noisy. I couldn’t turn it off for some reason. Would definitely stay there again as parking was next to the hotel and a very reasonable price. A lovely stay.

Very convenient walk from the train station, and a great starting point to walk down to the lanes. Nice and quiet given the activity outsides.

the room was perfectly clean and we had the best night's sleep in a long time! there was some paint peeling in the bathroom but it didnt affect our stay. the staff were all so lovely and helpful! breakfast was also great value for money with lovely ingredients and lots of options to choose from, i would suggest milk for teas and coffees being by both hot drink stations as due to me not having cereals meant i had to ask for the milk location and staff were busy with other tasks which meant my tea was cold by the time id located it. The hotel its self is beautiful and we loved all the decorative areas in the ground floor! we will definitely be back!

The hotel itself is basic but fine but the determination to extract every penny out of the guest is staggering. You forgot your toothbrush? 5 pounds. You want late check out? 10 pounds etc.

I stayed here two years ago and again this past week for work. Unfortunately, the quality of the rooms has goen downhill. You can tell their cutting corners. The lamp in the room was visibly/obviously broken. The curtains were soiled. Cards left in the room to communicate information were bent or wrinkled. It was disappointing.
