Room was a revelation - a huge upgrade on a travelodge/Premier Inn room and 25% cheaper. Staff were great, room modern and clean and the bed very comfortable. TV was a decent size too. Overall tip-top!

Terrible noise from the street outside till late at night. The housekeeping staff started baying on the door at 8am an continued making noise all morning. Really do not recommend this place

We arrived quite late, but Anisoara had everything organised — the keys, the access code, and clear directions. The room itself was very comfortable, with a large bed, good-quality bedding, and a proper full-size bath. Because the hotel sits on a pedestrian street, it was peaceful throughout the night and we slept really well.

Although we arrived later in the evening, Anisoara had everything sorted — clear instructions, keys ready, and the entry code sent straight over. The room was comfortable with a big bed and great sheets, plus a full-size bath. Being down a pedestrian street meant it was very quiet, and we had a solid night’s sleep.

Room was disappointing. Window couldn’t open and glass was opaque, felt like being in a closet. Bad sewage smell. No bath. No tea bags. Was messaged to ask when I was coming to check in because they wanted to leave early, and in the morning housekeeping pestered me before check-out

We needed accommodation in the city for me to attend meetings and my husband to do some touristy things. The B and H was really convenient for both of us, friendly and met our needs price wise. In all very happy with our choice.

Guided to our room, given no information other than the key. No fridge, no ice, no waters, nor information on how to check out. Found multiple hairs in the sheets, and a dead bug. The shower doesn’t drain at all…water got all over the bathroom. The bar downstairs also no longer serves food. I would not recommend staying here.

Well stocked and good quality bedroom

There are shops nearby and the bar downstairs offered a fine selection.

The good: location, amazing staff, early checkin, bag storage, bed really comfy, flat screen, amenities and really good cookies! The bad: staircases, it’s an old building so understandable but very tricky to go down, the curtains won’t block all the light, very noisy area and if you have a light sleep I’d recommend some noise canceling solution. The ugly: the sink had its drain fully closed, I had to unscrew it for the water to run and then a terrible smell came out of it, the shower heads looks like were never cleaned from the build up calcium, the air vent in the toilet was also full of build up dust.

The room was above the Pub in a nice alleyway. After work hours there was a mob outside and a bit noisy until 10:30pm. I knew that could be the case, so it did not bother me. The beer was cold! Per the web the pub was supposed to have food, but this was not the case. Otherwise, I may have given 5 Stars. However, there were plenty of other options in the area. A great stay.

Great location. It is connected to the pub and in a renovated building. I have a nice room and each floor has snacks and drinks available. The young lady that checked me in was nice enough to carry my bags up the 3 floors, there is not elevator. The room is very nice and the bathrool has toiletris that were nice to have. I didn't hear any noise and I felt very centrally located. I would recommend and stay again. Once you check in you have your own private entrance to the building and everything is secure. TV did not work and batteries were needed for remote, I was too tired to walk down the stairs to ask for them. :). Wifi was strong.

We had a wonderful stay at the bull and the hide. It was nice and central for all of our activities, the bed was incredibly comfy, the room was clean and the bathrooms were lovely! We would definitely stay again.

Very unusual property. There is no hotel lobby per se - the check in area was the bar downstairs. It wasn't entirely clear upon arrival where to check in. Was shown to room, but no introduction to the WiFi. On checkout, had to search the back rooms for someone to give my key to. Strange "hotel". It was more of a bar with some rooms upstairs. Rooms were fine, though, if a bit tight.
