Nice hotel. Fun play room for kids. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. but a few things that were a little frustrating. We are a family of five. They have us four towels. Like why can’t we have five? The elevator is really cold. The pool is really cold. Location is good. Parking is really expensive. Overall I would recommend.

Excellent location! Easy access to public transportation. Walkable to many cultural sites. Great staff - professional and courteous. This is a safe, centrally located hotel near shopping and great restaurants.

Very hot at night (due to humidity). There is A/C, but don’t expect American-style air conditioning where you can set a temperature. It’ll be cooler than outside, but not much, and of comparable humidity. Breakfast is great!

When I am in Helsinki I always stay at Scandic Park. Its reasonable and I lovecthe rooms. The breakfast is incredible. Friend, knowledgeable staff!

There is a pool and sauna on the top floor; my teenagers enjoyed these facilities The hotel has 500 rooms and was at capacity when we checked in amidst coach parties. The staff are patient and efficient. The three lifts got very busy and full. Breakfast buffet was wide ranged from porridge and fruit, yoghurt and dairy, lots of bread and pastries, many types of meat The family room with 3 beds was perfect No kettle, drinks or snacks in room (our rate €210) Tram system is excellent and runs just outside this massive hotel on the main drag through Helsinki

No phones in the room. Pillows were square and small. No instructions for TV. No storage area

The hotel is well run with very good customer service. On the last morning of our stay the waitor from Somalia gave better than great service and made my family feel extra special and welcome. The only small drawback was the check in staff did not know about the daily chess happening close by at the library. This is a great initiative and a chess lovers dream. The hotel should be aware of this great idea and advertise it to interested guests.

This place has very good staff, but a cheap owner! There is no air-conditioning. Apparently according to the responses of the hotel, ac only exists in some classes of rooms, and not all. Even though my room had a temperature control unit, it was unbearably hot. Outside temperatures were 27-30C. The front desk gave me a fan, which was so poor quality, that it rattled and the fan cage was crooked. Therefore, the AC was NOT broken, but was only installed in some areas. Good example of cheap & disgusting management and owner. Also as noted by many reviewers, the organization is poor. The room had no electric kettle, no the about the name of the wifi, a window which opened a measly 5-6cm. The restaurant had excellent food and service but its management had no knowledge ofthe function of "signs"! One night, I couldn't get anyone to assign me a seat, even though there were many people inside. I finally found a staff member who told me that the entire restaurant was closed due to a special reserved event taking place! Not a single person bothered putting up a sign to inform the rest of the guests!!! The pool was crowded and locker rooms were tiny with no room to change. The elevators had an audible warning when arriving but its volume was SO LOW as to be inaudible if there was even the slightest sound! The room cleaning was also. essed up. The lerson took my dirty towels but did not replace them with new ones!!

Brilliant experience! We stayed for a couple of nights and it was ideal for a family of 4, plenty of space ideal set up for families with some great ideas to keep them entertained. Really great central location with tram just outside so easy to explore the city.

If staying at a 900 room holiday camp is your idea of fun, go ahead, book here. Breakfast was a nightmare. Sittings (yes, really, they are a breakfast thing here) are every half an hour yet are crowded with queues for everything. Insufficient tables meant that people were eager to take your table if you wanted an extra coffee or more than just an orange juice and croissant. Horrible experience. And the evening bar is no better. One member of staff for a busy bar who was clueless in which order to serve the queue at the bar. And orders from the restaurant take precedent, which were often. It’s clean. It’s modern. It’s quite convenient for touring the city. But it’s a holiday camp, attracting people who stop parenting their offspring once the ‘out of office’ is on. Not again for us. But if this sounds like your heaven, then you’ll be happy.

Very nice hotel rooms and an amazing breakfast. Garage big and clean.

Caramel iced latte as a breakfast option in the buffet on a hot summer day was beyond awesome
