Wonderful location near cours Mirabeau, lots of shops and cafes. Walked a pleasant 15min into town to reach the hotel. Stayed in Picasso on second floor. Was not noisy at all, and most comfortable bedding I've had in France. Only thing is, wifi was not available in the room.

The hotel is fine but we had a terrible experience with hotel vis-a-vis our car. We paid the hotel 25 Euro per night for car park. However, about a month after returning home we received a ticket in mail about illegal parking in front of the hotel (during the time that the car was in possession of the hotel). Our numerous correspondence with hotel via email and fax to resolve the issue were ignored by the hotel. We are frustrated by the hotel's recalcitrant and irresponsible attitude; a complete violation of trust. Stay away!

the people working the desk were great and helpful. The location is awesome right on the main historic area of town. Aix-en-Provence was great and the hotel is very small and the employees get to know you well. It was a great experience.

Tucked away at the top of the Cours Mirabeau above the famous Deux Garcons Cafe. Great location, staff wonderfully accommodating/helpful in a beautiful old building, rooms recently redone with a modern eclectic vibe in this small boutique hotel. Loved it!

This is a pretty cool hotel with a great atmosphere and a great location in the heart of Aix. My only complaint was that I couldn't open my window because of the smell from the restaurant downstairs (the odors are not a problem if the window stays closed).

Love it! - It was very, very convenient to everything in the heart of the Old Town. Marc who runs the place, went out of his way to make me feel welcome and to advise places to go to see, eat etc. The room was remarkable - 5* in cleanliness, appearance and so quiet. I was sad to leave.

Stayed 2 nights for $500 per night. We expected A LOT MORE. Uninviting lobby. Staff OK. We stayed in room 105 (the Theater Room). Very modern with the smallest, ugly bedside lamps we've ever seen. The bathroom sink was huge, but left hardly any room to set anything down. The huge plastic cylinder enclosed crystal chandelier was ugly. There were no light privacy curtains on the window so that we had to keep the heavy curtain closed a lot. I noticed the red, padded headboard need to be dusted. The shower was nice, but difficult to prevent water from going all over. One could PAY for a simple, continental breakfast that we were supposed to eat in our room. If we hadn't pre-paid for this over-priced, uncomfortable room, we would never had stayed there.

I found this hotel on hotels.com at a very good rate during the week. The hotel was in an amazing location for nightly strolls, late romantic dinners and drinks. The staff were really friendly (and spoke English!) The only complaint I can make is that the hotel did not have a pool. It was very hot during our stay and a pool would have been nice. The room was a great size, the decor was fun and modern, and the bathroom/shower incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

You cannot get a better location in Aix: right above Les Deux Garcons historic cafe on the main walk street, but where it's relatively quiet late at night. Staff was terrific, and hotel interior is modern/hip with luxury accoutrements (sheets, soaps, etc.). This is a great boutique hotel.
