The warm welcome of the receptionist made our stay great. He is so kind to help us book our cruise dinner 1 hour before the cruise. Thanks so much.

Wonderful location! Staff are great. We stayed in a room that had a view of the tip of the Eiffel Tower, it was still a nice treat. Everything from shopping, sightseeing, and food are in walking distance. I loved seeing people sitting outside, conversations being had around wine and food... no phones!

Rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. Location is very close to the best known attraction in the country. Numerous corner cafes in the area not to mention a couple well known fast food places. Corner markets to the left and right for fresh items and spirits. A laundry mat less than a quarter mile helps lite travelers. Two subway stations right close also. Multi day public transportation helps see other landmarks. Car service or uber is recommended to and from airport to avoid the headache. A final word to the wise is that the air conditioning system in all hotels we have stayed (4 countries/4hotels) locks out at 20degrees Celsius/68 F.

As a father traveling with my wife & 2 adult daughters, we reserved 2 rooms next to each other. From the start, the experience was unsettling. During check‑in, Raul was passive‑aggressive & spoke down to us. We had made an error on the reservation — 1 room was booked for 6 nights instead of 7 - we were fully willing to pay for the extra night. Raul said he could fix it, but his body language & tone were anything but welcoming. He took over 45 minutes to process the change. He also told us the hotel “strongly recommends” guests turn in their room keys every time they leave. His explanation — a confusing story about a man following a woman inside — raised more concerns than reassurance. Breakfast felt unsafe; someone was coughing heavily while preparing food. Signs throughout the hotel stated that although housekeeping only comes every 4 days, but staff still enters rooms daily “for safety.” I’m attaching a picture of the policy posted in the elevator. The most troubling incident involved Raul ignoring a Do Not Disturb sign. After my daughters reported smoke from another room (only so they wouldn’t be charged), he insisted multiple times on changing their towels even though they declined. Later, my wife saw him entering their room with the DND sign displayed. He told her he had the authority to override it. This was alarming. If one of my daughters had been showering or alone, the situation could have been far worse.

I felt extremely unsafe during my stay, not because of the neighborhood but because of the hotel staff—especially Raul. From the moment we checked in, the experience was unsettling. Check‑in took over 45 minutes, during which he repeatedly stopped helping us to assist others. He also told us the hotel “strongly recommends” guests turn in their room keys every time they leave, citing a story that didn’t make sense and only made us more uncomfortable. My friend, who lives in Paris, wasn’t allowed upstairs with me to get ready for dinner, even though she wasn’t staying overnight. Breakfast was also concerning—someone was coughing heavily while preparing food, so we avoided it entirely. There were signs stating that staff enter rooms daily “for safety,” even though housekeeping only comes every four days. This policy alone felt invasive, but it became worse when Raul ignored our Do Not Disturb sign. After we reported that someone above us had been smoking (only so we wouldn’t be charged), he insisted multiple times on changing our sheets and towels even though we declined. Later, my parents saw him entering our room with the DND sign displayed. He told them he had the authority to override it. This was alarming. We had already told him the smoke smell was gone. If one of us had been showering or alone in the room, the situation could have been even more distressing. I never felt safe sleeping or showering here, and it was entirely due to the staff’s behavior—particularly Raul’

My room required me to go up and down a spiral staircase with my luggage. The elevator does not service all rooms, and you have to take the stairs. There was no fridge, ice bucket, safe or anything like that in the room. On the plus side, they had good air conditioning which was great as I travelled during a heat wave.

We appreciated the kind and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The breakfast room offered good choice for breakfast and staff was attentive. The bathroom was nicely appointed, very clean and functional. It is in an area that makes it easy to get anywhere. I was concerned we would hear trains on the nearby elevated line but the trains are quiet and with the window shut they really aren’t heard. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Not much for breakfast considering it cost over 14 Euros per person. Air was not controlled in room but rather through the front desk. Once we complained that it was too cold, they changed the temperature. Great location in proximity to main attractions BUT traveller beware that room is VERY small with hardly any room to walk around and clothes storage, we had the upgraded room so can't image how others managed.

Did not need AC. Accomodation was average. Staff was super. Disappointed with the room advertised for a queen bed. There was a 10 inch between the foot of the bed and the wall. Had to creep to go to the washroom. There was no suitcase stand. In fact there was no.place for any. One side had 28 inches between the bed and the window wall. The other side had a 30 inch space between the bed and wall/front door. We had two suitcases and no place to put them. You had to open them and close them and push them aside to get in and out the room. Will be great for a single bed. It is falsely advertised and misleading.

It was disappointing tea and coffee were not provided in the room Our feelings were the classic room would best for backpackers

Clean room, but air conditioning was not working. Breakfast wasn’t very good and an additional charge per morning. Location is in an okay neighborhood but I would not recommend walking from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower in the dark. It was fine during the day but not the best area to walk through at night. Location is too far to walk to any of the other big sight seeing things. The Arc de Triumph was a 45 min walk but takes an hour with navigating all the people on the streets. Lots of Uber fees this trip. Overall the hotel was nice and if you want a residential feel or have your own transportation this is the perfect place. The car service is a third party company and double the price of getting an Uber if you don’t want to take the metro.
