Le Meridien Nice

The location was really good. Close to the beach & restaurant & bars & shops as it was central to most places. We had an executive room with terrace city view. It was smaller than expected for the price we paid. We had drinks at the bar and the service was good. The breakfast was a big keg down. Not a huge choice . And the hot choices were not hot. The scrambled egg was cold and others were not good quality. We were not told we could order eggs either. We saw a table with poached eggs ands then asked. We kinda wished we stayed at the Mercury next door to save some money as the hotel was not worth the money we paid. I was impressed with the response on the app when we requested extra pillows & water they did respond & 1 hour extra complementary check out.

Room had a bed and 1 very small table with 2 chairs. No furniture with counter tops. Only place to place items was on the floor. Also the small refrigerator was locked. Even after requesting access, no one came to unlock. Great view, crappy room, high cost.

Amazing location and beautiful hotel!

Room not as illustrated on Hotels.com. listing implied partial sea view...our room did not have this. Although described as City View pi tures on listing had sea view. Very misleading

The room was clean and spacious. However, the bathroom was poorly designed.

Fantastic location. Lobby is in good condition. The room I was given ( even as a platinum elite Bonvoy member) was quite dated especially in the bathroom. Staff was helpful.

Everything was ok,but the air conditioning didn’t work in the room. Although the front desk continued to claim it was fixed, it wasn’t and we had two nights of a warm room. Eventually they moved us to another. Other than this, the stay was nice.

If your staying make sure you either have a west or south view as the others are looking right into people across the streets property

The staff is amazing, special shout out to Martini always cheerful and helpful at breakfast! Jeremy il est bon! Loved the private terrace (executive room) and L'Occitane supply, location c'est magnifique!!

The location was good, we had the beach view but most of the fifth floor was under construction with terrible non stop noise. For a high end hotel with high prices it was extremely disappointing.

The view of the sea was truly wonderful - and very centrally located!

Room was spotless . Staffs were efficient , courteous . The view from my room was fabulous and awe- inspiring . There were so many shops and restaurants . The vibes were excellent

The location is great, very walkable and right across from the beach.

The room allocated for us was too small, room number 851 (not much space to move) especially for the seniors like usn 67 and 68 yrs old these was the only negative, but we're happy with the locations, very accessible to shops and restaurants. There was also no cuttleries like plates, spoon, fork and the daily suppy of milk were only two tiny container, it can't even change the colour of the coffee Thank you.

Too expensive for just sleeping in that room. The key for the elevator didn't work. They gave us another one, but didn't work either. They cleaned the room very well. There was a bottle of water on each nightstand when we got there, but after that we didn't get anything. My nice was staying there too, and she told me that they were getting water every day, so we complained about that and that evening we found three bottles of water hanging out the door. The coffee was the best, but just a tiny cup for $7€. The croissants were my favorite, 2€ each. We couldn't use the pool, because it was cold in October. The beach is across the street and it is nice and clear.The views are great, especially if you go up to the old town around the shoreline or take the tram and get off on Garibaldi.
