The staff checked me in quickly and held my bags until check-in time (I arrived early in the day). Very helpful with providing directions and key points in the city. Facility was very clean and quiet. The free breakfast had a wonderful selection and perfect temperature.

1 minute walk to metro station , 2 minute walk to bus stop, close to many restaurants with a very local vive. Excellent location. Far from the tourist noise but close enough to walk to the tourist attractions.

The hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly , the location is great , perfectly centered in old Paris, Latin Quarter. The hotel is surrounded with great bakeries.

Great location, very quiet. We booked the smallest room and it really is tiny - barely a foot to walk around the bed. Good thing we only had carry on luggage as there is nowhere to put suitcases or even really to unpack much. Otherwise all good: comfortable beds, clean, great staff, big fluffy towels, lots of choice for breakfast

My wife and I loved this hotel. The location is close to the Metro, from there you can easily go to any location in Paris. The Staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel! A special compliment for "Ida" she went above and beyond to help us with a issue with our airline as if we were her own family. I can not say enough about her professionalism. If you want a traditional Paris hotel with character this is for you.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of the Mouffetard area in the Latin Quarter. Lovely, accommodating staff.

The hotel was small and friendly, staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, eg directions, suggestions on where to visit etc. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The area around the hotel was lovely with many restaurants etc. We walked down to the Notre-Dame area in around 20 minutes, however there are bus/metro options also. Breakfast was perfect.

Very happy with my stay for Paris Olympics. Great location with a local market street and lots of restaurants and a station right by the hotel. Would stay but get the suite if you can.

A perfect little hotel for a short stay in Paris. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and complimentary coffee and cake in reception a bonus! Despite quite a small room, all was very neat and up to date, and the bathroom and shower very nice, shower was good. Very handy location for the Paris Metro, would stay again.

Clean beds and room. Great front staff. Building getting old. Could use rubber mat in slippery showers.

Location is safe and close to restaurants and cafes. The checking was fast and excellent breakfast included. We booked one night with Expedia to pay when we check in and they charged my credit card before we got there. I was a little surprised, but more surprise and then a little upset because they make me pay again when we got there, and the explanation was that the other money was a hold and that was going to be refunded within 3-4 business days. The money was refunded maybe about 5 days later, and this did not affect me at all, but it can be important when you travel with a budget and you have to double pay for your stay. This never happened to me with Expedia in the past, and this was the first hotel of three that I booked with Expedia in this trip, and I booked all of did them with the same pay when stay, and it only happened here. It had nothing to do with money on hold for incidental charges. I'm not sure who policy is this for one night, Expedia or the Hotel, but it is important to note for any future traveler. We did not like the fact, that they give and old big key for the room, that you have to leave at the front desk every time you go out and pick it up when you return no matter what time it is. This is very unusual for this days when you stay in a hotel. We've been in Paris a few times and we all heard about the size of the hotels rooms, but this was smaller than the average. In conclusion in the overall I won't rule out staying here again.

Hotel was in a quiet road, but really convenient for the metro and many restaurants. we didn't feel we were in a tourist area. Bedroom was fine, but was rather small. Breakfast was good.

It was my first time staying at Maxim Quartier Latin and I would definitely stay there again. The people at the front desk are very nice, professional and helpful. I needed to iron my pants for the next day and they provided me with an iron and iron table in a few minutes. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet despite the fact that I was by the elevator (had the usual guests coming back a little late but nothing bad) and after that it was very quiet. The breakfast was very enjoyable: the pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat etc...) were fresh and delicious, and there was a lot of choice with for food and drinks. The area is very nice, quiet, close to the subway but you can also walk to a lot of different places. A lot of choice of restaurants in the neighborhood as well. I will definitely go back!

All of the staff was so kind and accommodating. The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful. Only recommendation is for a bit more variety on the breakfast, otherwise it was an incredible stay!
