Beautiful place, kind and attentive staff, and delicious food! They were accommodating to our food allergies and celebrated my birthday in such a special way. The spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and kind, going out of their way to provide excellent service in both the restaurant and spa. However, the breakfast buffet did not meet our expectations for Alya Hotel. That said, the staff did their best to ensure we had a pleasant experience. 😍😍

I’ve stayed at the Alaya twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. This time for 1 week and it was just perfect. The staff is amazing. The spa is incredible, pools and gym are all a 10. I would definitely stay here again. Location is close to the center and walkable to a lot IF the heat wasn’t so intense but it’s Bali and it is, so we still needed to use taxis to get to some of the “spots” but not a big deal. Lots of restaurants and shops near. Yoga Barn is literally next door if that’s your vibe!

It is located right in the middle of Ubud. Very close to Monkey forest. Its a really great resort with a pool. Staff were super nice. The gym facility was minimal and a bit limited but I was still able to do some excersises.

Personnel excellent, room not so good. Smelled old and pillows smell like sweat.

Alaya was a wonderful experience. The workers try their best to smile and make you feel at home and comfortable. Unfortunately, these smiles are somewhat forced and fake - not so candid. You can tell the workers are frustrated with tourists, and just overwhelmed and tired. Chanise and Pebri were genuinely wonderful people and were authentic with their work. We had an issue with the hotel not supplying enough sugar free sodas in replace of their sugary sodas. They would only give us 1 sugar free soda and 4 sugary ones. We don’t consume sugary sodas and felt that we were not treated properly for a 5 star hotel when it came to this specific dietary restriction. I left a negative review on Google about this, and so the manager contacted me about this and asked me to change my review because they accommodated my request. It should not have taken me to write a negative review on Google for them to accommodate such a basic request. All in all, the staff were too apologetic for this, to the point we felt harassed. They were “so sorry” for this over and over and it was all because they wanted me to change my review. Will we return? Most likely not. Reason: they were only “nice” to us when they wanted the review changed. They should have provided exceptional customer service in the first place.

Great stay, all the staff were excellent and ready to help out if needed. Lovely room, very clean.

Our stay was truly exceptional! The accommodation was stunning, offering breathtaking views and top-notch amenities. The staff were incredibly humble, cooperative, and always ready to assist, making us feel genuinely welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.

Very clean and a nice relaxing place to stay. The higher end rooms are a nice oasis to come back and rest in. Made my stay feel that much more comfortable and at home.

We had a very relaxing 5 night stay over new years. Staff very friendly, daily morning and night room service was lovely. Gardens and grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained. We didn’t opt to pay extra for breakfast in their restaurant as there are so many options around Ubud. Located in a great areas close to everything. Although overcast and rainy most days of our stay we still utilised the pools, pool bar staff very attentive. Overall would highly recommend Alaya!

This was by far the best hotel we have experienced in terms of service! The staff is so incredibly kind. The facilities are perfectly maintained and you are taken care of if you need anything at all. The hotel has multiple restaurants around it that are all delicious, the room was spacious and beautiful, and we loved the spa so much that we went multiple times for treatments. Definitely book, you will not regret it!
