I stayed at 3 different hotel during my trip in Indonesia, honestly Ambhara hotel is the best place I stayed so far. The staffs are all very friendly, welcome and helpful. The room is nice, clean, aircon is cool, bathroom with bathtub. I would repeat stay here again in my next trip to Jakarta the hotel location also very near to Blok M by just crossing the road only. Recommended

The staff is friendly, for a hotel that is very close to Blok M, the price is quite cheap with the best service and facilities, it is a bit old but all the facilities still function very well, even with the cheapest room

Old hotel in a perfect location in Jakarta that used to be very popular. You can tell the furniture is old, but it’s well maintained. Can’t really complain since the price is very reasonable. The breakfast selection is quite basic, though.

The staff are so friendly that makes the experience enjoyable. However the food at breakfast is mediocre not that wonderful. The pastry is too dry although it looks good. variety of food served is not that inspiring, the menu only slightly different from day-to-day. After awhile one get bored easily.

For a staycation, it's a big no for me. But if it's just a place to rest for a business trip/visit, it's still okay. The hotel is old but not too scary 😂 For those who bring a vehicle, it's better to park outside if you're afraid of scratches or can't park in a tight spot, the basement parking is really narrow.

The hotel staff was friendly. Security was also helpful, helping me climb the stairs from the basement to the lobby. The staff were also helpful during check-in and check-out. The rooms have a classic feel and are soundproof. Unfortunately, the power outlets follow the lights, so if you turn off the lights, you can't charge your phone. The hotel's location is also strategic.
