Love this property, was the second time now I’ve stayed here originally booked a lead in room which was very basic with no balcony so upgraded directly to a residence room which is definitely worth the $200 extra per night! Service is great, position is great and location! Will be back again next year!

Fantastic property. Great value for the price one pays. The breakfast venue is breathtaking by the beach and its a spot for the surfers. Rooms were spanking clean and service was amazing

Amazing hotel. From the staff and their friendliness, to the amenities - loved every aspect. A peaceful and relaxing holiday, right on the beach, and close to plenty of restaurants and venues. Will be back again!

Great Stay at Como Uma Canggu. The staff are amazing and very accomodating.

There has been a change in how they charge for book now pay later. They failed to advise in a timely manner that they needed a deposit 24 hours before checking. We received a whatapp text in transit and it was just very sloppy. You need to state at time Of booking that you require a prepayment 7 days prior - they kept sending me the cancellation notice and I never cancelled !!! It’s was distressing to say the least. We were upgraded to a garden room which was much appreciated. The staff as usual were great and the complimentary massage as a VIP was worth it. The only complaint about this property is during busy period the pool staff need to clear the cabanas and pool chairs. People think they can dump their stuff and leave for the whole day only to return at the end of the day when that is a loss of revenue for the hotel as other guests wanted a daybed and we’re going to spend money and eat. Please revise your policy and advise guests that belongings will be removed and the lounge made available if they leave it unattended for more than 60 minutes. It’s not fair for the other paying guests. Also there was a big noise complaint as there was bass music coming from One of the bars until 3am and it was so loud. The Como is so far removed and a luxury hotel not a backpacker hotel but with the new beach clubs around and restaurants the music is so loud. Please work with the local authorities to come to an agreement about the sound being turned down after midnight

The room was amazing. The restaurant was good for breakfast. The amenities are really good. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The Pilates instructor was good. Service was impeccable. Unfortunately, there was a very strong smell in the room (humidity/mod). It made it very difficult to sleep at night as the smell becomes stronger. If you are sensitive to smell I would be careful with this place. Otherwise it was great.

Wish I had read the reviews before we booked! Here we are looking at a wall, no view at all. The cleaning and restaurant staff are fabulous, very nice to deal with and helpful. Breakfast has been beautiful each morning and we have enjoyed the pool. So there are some positives just a real shame about the room situation, it’s been very poorly designed.

Nice property and very accommodating staff. The hotel didn’t feel much different than a standard hotel in the states. Pristine rooms and wonderful onsite food options made up for the lacking wow factor.

We've stayed at Como Canggu before as well as Ubud & Maldives. Como Canggu presents as a 5 star but boy there is lots of room for improvement. We checked in at 3am after a very long flight delay, and paid for the day before. Walked in and had to walk straight out due to the strong odour of mould. Wowee. Another room organised within 30 mins. Como Beach Club was full of screaming unsupervised children. Twas crazy! Spoke to staff and they advised that the parents were in the restaurant having lunch. Yikes! There really should be a separate area for families. A Beach Club is to be enjoyed for a quiet swim or a cocktail by the pool, reading a book, not screaming children. Never again! I didn’t pay $1100 per night to go to Como Beach Club and experience that. Another guest got involved but it was a ridiculous situation 🙄. The staff are the best asset of the hotel. Cannot fault anyone. From Reception, to Restaurants, to Gym, to Housekeeping and Gardeners ... every single one has a beautiful smile and a greeting to you. They really do make the resort. The rooms are going to need an update soon. Some lights didn’t work but they were replaced within 24hrs though. The location on the beach is phenomenal though. A+ for location. Would I return? For the pricing, no. Better value for us elsewhere.

The hotel room is huge. But condition of the cupboards are abit old. Wish they renovate abit.
